If y ou don't mind smelling like a bottle of YES, knock yourself out.
Personally for contest prep I put it on everything from abs to ankles & wrap it all up in saran wrap & sleep in it.
For cardio I put it on the same areas & usually put on some long spandex sports pants. If you put it on your face or other places, I would just do it where it won't rub off (like on your face while you sleep, unless you sleep on your back). Otherwise put some sleeves or a shirt over it.
