xbox cleaning question?

my xbox fucks up alot. usually in two player mode when you go to the save area, it says it cannot read disc or something. i have a warranty where if i drop it, i take it to best buy and they give me a new one. should i do this or try and get one of those xbox cleaning dvd's from sam goody?

Easy remedy for that. Take it and any games you do not want to a local store that buys old games and systems. Trade it in saying you do not play it anymore and was going to give it away as a present but didn't want to look cheap by giving an old system away. As long as the system turns on and will start a game, they'll buy it. I sold 10 games and 2 controllers and my old xbox (which kept fucking up) and got a brand new xbox and 6$ credit!!
