jnevin said:I drove there a couple of times to get kegs. It's just a boring, desolate place.
pin said:Yep. Her Dad and brother live there. They gave us a couple of acers. We're planning on building a vacation house there.
dabuffguy said:Get some decent fireworks for the 4th though. Evanston's hooked a bro up many times, hehehe.
Megalomaniac said:My cabin in my profile is in the Big Horns up north. I love it how the interstates run through Cheyenne and Rock Springs area and then up to Casper and Gillette. That was planning on Wyoming's part. AK and Wyoming are the only states with positive budgets over the last 10 years, WYO is looking to go to the tax refund like AK. My home town is full of wealthy corporation owners and Jackson county was ranked the second richest county per capita in the nation last year.
I'll shoot one for youpin said:I wanna shoot a Pronghorn.
cuthroat said:I'll shoot one for youYeah I'm from Gillette and the Economy pretty much kicks ass here.
What part of the big horns? I spend a lot of time up near Tensleep fly fishing and such, hunting in the fall.Megalomaniac said:My cabin in my profile is in the Big Horns up north. pin said:How the hell do you get close enough for a bow out in the wide open?
We bow hunt deer, but we have hills and bushes.

cuthroat said:It's pretty easy, what I have done is set up near any of their watering sources wait an hour or so and wham bam skewered antelope lol.
pin said:Good camo?
Megalomaniac said:Muddy Creek, the drainage south of Crazy Woman and right before you get to the Hazleton Road. What area do you hunt? LOL you are from the razor city.
Megalomaniac said:Yes and a blind of some sort is needed. Lots of patients an one arrow. If you don't chase them all over your property then it isn't as hard. Spooked goats are impossible to get on top of.
pin said:The deer around here are pretty stupid. You can practically walk up and stick 'em with an arrow. Its not Their fault though. They are so remote most of them have never seen a human.
cuthroat said:I do all my deer and goat hunting over here, elk hunting in area 35, sometimes area 34 if I feel like mixing things up.
Yeah it should be called "the city where everyone makes to much money and uses it on drugs and gets a free trip to jail" city. Pisses me off, definetley not a place I would raise a family if I were to raise a family. I'll probably be moving to Teton or Park county eventually. I like the country on that side of the state better.
cuthroat said:If you hunt private land its the same way over here, sometimes its not like your even hunting, its like your going deer killing lol.
pin said:My wifey is from WY.![]()
Megalomaniac said:My father worked at Decker, I know all about it where you are. The Meth industry is crazy, yes both the coalbed and crystal. They are both out of control for sure.
On another note have you heard the song CCCS'ers? That shit is funny.
You have us confused with Montana.chris302001 said:is she wooley?

cuthroat said:No I don't think I have heard the song lol. How does it go or where can I listen to it.
Megalomaniac said:Campbell county cock suckers. Some dude from Buffalo wrote it I think and it is a cult classic throughout the state. You gotta hear it, I will try to find it on the net somewhere. Even being from there you will have to laugh at it. He talks about 17 license plate and meth and suv's and not having anything so you have to use the rest of the state. Funny shit.
cuthroat said:Lol sounds cool. I make fun of the county all the time anyway damn right I'll laugh at it.
pin said:Totally. a real wookie. She chews tabaccy too. Ppptptt! Ting!
cuthroat said:You have us confused with Montana.
Megalomaniac said:I have to admit, Wyoming girls are a bit crazy. I'm sure your hands are full. lol
Sweet thanks.Megalomaniac said:You will roll on this one. This dude is good, I make my friends play it everytime I come home. I just hit them up to email me the mp3 and will kick it to you when they do. I'm sure you can find it easily there, all the people probably hate it. It is funny because the rest of the state loves and undestands it. I was over in Jackson on night and randomly heard it, I thought it was only Buffalo and Sheridan people who felt that way. LOL
chris302001 said:lol, that's not what we say about wyomingz.....but I'm sure you have sayings for us too.....
Megalomaniac said:You're from Montucky? Who knew? No wonder you were depressed. lol
Lol yeah. I'd move back, screw the big cities. They are nice to visit but nothing beats small town life. IMHO.chris302001 said:No, I'm from Western Nebraska. I live in Las Vegas now......that's what's so depressing...

Lots of mountain parties.
I worked 4 days a week and then spent the rest of the week running around the woods with rafting guides and ski instructors and rock climbers.
I loved it.
I thought I was only blacked out for an hourwhat, I can't hear you?

I thought I was only blacked out for an hour![]()
I hate the blackout, to read a post I have to reply to that person, read the post and then hit back on my browser to go back to the thread. Blackout just hurts me not the person who got bad K.
this town is fucking rough.
What do you mean by rough? Rough to get a job? Well those companies all are import companies and usually have very few locals working on them. Because of that you get a mixed crowd of people who are trying to survive and people who love the work and hate seeing new guys come and go. Timing is usually key to those jobs, people randomly quit and the guy in the right place at the right time gets the spot. Also the best companies to work for usually have a wait list because the workers talk about how good they are and everyone tries to get the hookup to work for them. Networking is the way in on those companies.
If you mean it is rough in some other way then I'm not sure. Wyo isn't an outsiders place imo. Everyone I know HATES people from outside coming in because they are trying to take a piece of what we have. They will steal our good fishing spot, be in our favorite hunting area, hit on the girl we have been working since middle school, and be one more face in the bar we probably can't trust. My advice there is to just be humble and excited to meet people. Those guys always got a little more conversation out of me and my friends.
