Wyoming is fucking crazy

That is just what we want you to think so you don't stop. Just keep on driving, keep on driving and don't look around, just look at the plains, the open road and keep on driving. No reason to stop, not even for gas, just keep on driving and everything will be just fine.

Just don't do it there, drive through and shoot yourself somewhere else because you are not wanted here.

Lander is awesome, have you been?

Yep. Her Dad and brother live there. They gave us a couple of acers. We're planning on building a vacation house there.

If you mean fucking crazy as in fucking crazy awesome yeah. lol.

I didn't think anyone else had been to let alone lived here in wyoming.

Sweet. :chomp:

Big states can keep all their damn people I like the wide open space.

I drove there a couple of times to get kegs. It's just a boring, desolate place.

Get some decent fireworks for the 4th though. Evanston's hooked a bro up many times, hehehe.

My cabin in my profile is in the Big Horns up north. I love it how the interstates run through Cheyenne and Rock Springs area and then up to Casper and Gillette. That was planning on Wyoming's part. AK and Wyoming are the only states with positive budgets over the last 10 years, WYO is looking to go to the tax refund like AK. My home town is full of wealthy corporation owners and Jackson county was ranked the second richest county per capita in the nation last year.

We have the International pyrotechnics convention here every five years, its going on right now, the coolest fireworks you will ever see period. Five years ago they lit off the worlds larges string of firecrackers that was suspended from this big as crane and they are going to top that one supposedly this friday. Started sunday, ends tomorrow night. Fucking kick ass shit I tell you what.

Muddy Creek, the drainage south of Crazy Woman and right before you get to the Hazleton Road. What area do you hunt? LOL you are from the razor city.

How the hell do you get close enough for a bow out in the wide open?

We bow hunt deer, but we have hills and bushes.

It's pretty easy, what I have done is set up near any of their watering sources wait an hour or so and wham bam skewered antelope lol.

That is hunting, you have to be good. I shot 7 goats in one season when I was 15, that is when decided rifle hunting was weak.

Good camo?

Yes and a blind of some sort is needed. Lots of patients an one arrow. If you don't chase them all over your property then it isn't as hard. Spooked goats are impossible to get on top of.

I do all my deer and goat hunting over here, elk hunting in area 35, sometimes area 34 if I feel like mixing things up. I don't if moose areas are different but there is an insanely large moose cruising around up near pole creek that was still around this spring. I didn't draw a moose tag though.

Yeah it should be called "the city where everyone makes to much money and uses it on drugs and gets a free trip to jail leave and do drugs again" city. Pisses me off, definetley not a place I would raise a family if I were to raise a family. I'll probably be moving to Teton or Park county eventually. I like the country on that side of the state better.

The deer around here are pretty stupid. You can practically walk up and stick 'em with an arrow. Its not Their fault though. They are so remote most of them have never seen a human.

If you hunt private land its the same way over here, sometimes its not like your even hunting, its like your going deer killing lol.

My father worked at Decker, I know all about it where you are. The Meth industry is crazy, yes both the coalbed and crystal. They are both out of control for sure.

On another note have you heard the song CCCS'ers? That shit is funny.

Campbell county cock suckers. Some dude from Buffalo wrote it I think and it is a cult classic throughout the state. You gotta hear it, I will try to find it on the net somewhere. Even being from there you will have to laugh at it. He talks about 17 license plate and meth and suv's and not having anything so you have to use the rest of the state. Funny shit.

You will roll on this one. This dude is good, I make my friends play it everytime I come home. I just hit them up to email me the mp3 and will kick it to you when they do. I'm sure you can find it easily there, all the people probably hate it. It is funny because the rest of the state loves and undestands it. I was over in Jackson on night and randomly heard it, I thought it was only Buffalo and Sheridan people who felt that way. LOL

Fuck yeah it is! Jackson's a great little town. Yellowstone, Grand Tetons...Wyoming's beautiful!

My Nashville friends think I'm strange to make my home out on the range

Think it's nothin' but a God-forsaken land
Why don't you bring your guitar and family, move on down to Tennesse
Well, I just smile because they don't understand
But if they ever saw a sunrise on a mountain mornin'
Watched those cotton candy clouds roll by
They'd know why I live beneath these Western Skies

Verse 2

I got peace of mind and elbow room I love the smell of sage in bloom
Catch a rainbow on my fishin' line
We got county fairs and rodeos, ain't a better place for my kids to grow

Just turn 'em loose in the western summer time
And if you ever held your woman on a summer's evening
While the prairie moon was blazin' in her eyes
You'd know why I live beneath these Western Skies

Bridge:
You ain't lived until you've watched those Northern Lights
Sat around the campfire and hear the coyotes call at night
Makes you feel alright

Verse 3

So guess I'll stay right where I'm at, wear my boots and my cowboy hat
But I'll come and see ya once in a while
I'll bring my guitar and sing my songs, sorry if I don't stay too long
I love Tennessee but ya know it just not my style
I gotta be where I can see those Rocky Mountains
Ride my horse and watch an eagle fly
I gotta live my life and write my songs beneath these Western Skies

When I die you can bury me beneath these Western Skies, Yippee-ay!

Dad went to some High School with him.

Wyoming isn't too bad...least you don't pay as much in taxes...

Fucking wind never stops blowing though...I'm about 1.5 hours from the wyoming border

I had a fantastic time when I lived there (Jackson Hole).
Lots of mountain parties.
I worked 4 days a week and then spent the rest of the week running around the woods with rafting guides and ski instructors and rock climbers.
I loved it.

word... I loved living in Summit County CO, same deal. How long were you there?

I thought I was only blacked out for an hour :bawling:

I hate the blackout, to read a post I have to reply to that person, read the post and then hit back on my browser to go back to the thread. Blackout just hurts me not the person who got bad K.

this town is fucking rough.

What do you mean by rough? Rough to get a job? Well those companies all are import companies and usually have very few locals working on them. Because of that you get a mixed crowd of people who are trying to survive and people who love the work and hate seeing new guys come and go. Timing is usually key to those jobs, people randomly quit and the guy in the right place at the right time gets the spot. Also the best companies to work for usually have a wait list because the workers talk about how good they are and everyone tries to get the hookup to work for them. Networking is the way in on those companies.

If you mean it is rough in some other way then I'm not sure. Wyo isn't an outsiders place imo. Everyone I know HATES people from outside coming in because they are trying to take a piece of what we have. They will steal our good fishing spot, be in our favorite hunting area, hit on the girl we have been working since middle school, and be one more face in the bar we probably can't trust. My advice there is to just be humble and excited to meet people. Those guys always got a little more conversation out of me and my friends.

yeah, a couple things have kept me from being able to take some of the 90k+ on the spot job offers, but meh...
