I think it's more about the ambiance, conversation etc etc.
Like how they originated back in the day, only difference is that they were probablty smoking the herb (before outlawed)

Hookah was cool for about 5 minutes then it was dumb. It's a buzz that can easily be overdone and make you feel terrible. At least it doesnt make you self-conscious like the other lamer herb.

I'd rather drink and get hostile or dancthe.
