The first time I ever injected way back when, I did essentially the same thing however I hit a vein and blood shot everywhere . Scared the H(*)) out of me.. lol I can take blood on someone else however not seeing it shooting out of me. lololol

haha yeah that would freak me out too. i ended up pinning into the left quad and i was paranoid the whole time waiting for my muscle to seize up lol it was fine though. the feeling of it just contracting that hard randomly freaked me out though haha

i have done the same thing the last two times I pinned my right quad. freaked me out both times but I knew what happened, I just pull out change needles and move about an inch somewhere else.

I can relate ,i can't stand for my tricep to twitch when i'm inserting a 1 & 1/2 in pin in it ,it's all part of the game tho!

You dont need to pull out when you get a little twitch from nerve hit right? you can go threw and just inject? Yesterday i had that in my quad but just went threw it and injected. Im perfectly fine with needles never had an issue with sticking my self.

it also depends on how you are sitting when you inject the quads. when i would sit on a stool that would happen to me.. when i sat on my bathtub and more of a 45 degree angle it wouldn't. I really get tired of pinning to be honest with you. you never know what will happen

when your knee is bent your quad is tense bend your knee and feel your quad then sit on a couch or bed with your leg stretched out and relaxed... feels nice and soft doesn't it? I just pinned 2.5 mls primo in my quad this morning and it went in like butter! whenever I used to do it with my knee bent I would twitch violently...

I actually did this and it caused my quad to cramp. Instead of pulling the needle out I fought it and ended up with a nice lump/bruise that stuck out for years.

i pinned my quad once and everything went fine and i aspirated. when i pulled the needle out after injecting blood like squirted 6inches in the air out of the whole and then bled some more down the side of my leg.
