Please Scroll Down to See Forums Below yyz is right, a cop will lie to you to see if you get nervous. it's a common practice, my girlfriend is a reporter and she did a story on the border crossings, they told her they do it, and then 2 weeks later we get stopped at the border, searched, and grilled because of the "trouble i had been in" that i wouldn't confess to. to bad the worst trouble i have ever been in is a speeding ticket. they weren't "messing around", they wanted to know "what i was up to" and if it had to deal with my "past troubles"?! ha, piggies!!

why would anyone guess steroids? those sound like amphetamine sides.
actually, the best thing to do when stopped by a cop is deny anything, or say 'talk to a lawyer who will represent my interests on this subject' or something along those lines. does it work? probably not. the cops will have mentally pressured/tortured you out of invoking your 5th amendment rights by the time you need them.

You guys are correct about cops useing pressure tactics to get you to confess or slip and tell two differant lies. I know alot of cops that juice and most of the ones that don't , want to !! A cop can take a urine sample if you say it is ok , so as far as haveing you civil liberities violated that was on you all you had to do was say no.

if he ask and you don't say no or he has some sort of probable cause he can search anything he wants.

their are more loopholes in the law for cops to stick you with it is not even funny , He can say that he thought that he smelled weed even if he diden't that would be probable cause enough to search you car , granted he shoulden't have done it alone so if he found anything you could say he put it their

searching your car without probably cause is a 4th amend violation. is it not? and reveing your engine and expired reg won't cut it. i would think he made up the bullshit so he can say that you "appreard to be under the infulance" sometimes thus allowing him to search your car. what a dickhead. they wonder why nobody likes them.

an increase in heart rate, dilated pupils, eye tremors, are all a result of sypathetic nervous system stimulation (fight or flight)..
you were scared, that's why you had those symptoms..
