Anyone else catch Wrestlemania tonight?

Hulk was the total shit! It was awesome! i was disappointed in the Women's Title match (I hate Jazz) but the Rock/Hulk match and the HHH/Y2J matches were great; I am completely in love with HHH. (Im a big WWF fan in case ya haven't noticed...)

I would be oh so happy if only I could have Ivory's arms and Lita's abs...workin' on it...workin' on it...I love lifting weights in front of the TV when wrestling is on...such motivation!

So Ive had a great sunday and hope everyone else does as well! Nite all!

My thoughts on last night will shock people, at least a few of you. LOL! The Rock-Hogan match might have been the greatest match I have ever witnessed. For any of you who witnessed the match, you truely witnessed a special moment in Pro Wrestling. I've been watching Wrestling for 27 years, and the Hogan-Rock match will be remembered forever by those who witnessed it.

What was amazing to me is how the crowd Popped for Hogan, and kept getting louder and louder, and how the crowd started giving The Rock major heat. It was interesting to see how both Hogan and Rock were playing on the crowd reactions. The energy was hands down just electric. It was brilliant. A moment that will never be seen again in Wrestling.

I am not a Hogan fan, but last night I found myself cheering for the man. I felt like I was 11 years old again, when I saw Hogan for the first time on a WWF broadcast winning the title from the Iron Shiek. Those are moments in the business that you never forget. People can make fun of me for watching Wrestling, but I don't care, I love the industry.
HAIL THE HOGAN!!!!!!! ( There Val, I said it!!)
 
Now my predictions for tonights RAW!

Rock will turn HEEL!! You heard it here first.

Hogan will don the yellow and red tonight.

X-Pac will be a new member in the NWO, but look for the NWO to be renamed to the KLIQ.
 
Hogan/Rock - great match. Hogan did the job and did it with class. I though the Austoin/Hall match rocked. Any comments about Hall being too out-of-shape to wrestle shoul;d have been answered.

I thought the Undertaker/Flair match rocked. Who would think that two guys either 50 or approaching that age could work for 30 minutes the way they did. Especially with Flair bleeding like a pig for most of the match.

I didn't see the Jericho/HHH match yet. I have it on tape. I heard it was disappointing, though.

The Hogan face turn is a set up for the Rock's heel turn.

I agree the Taker-Flair match was the secong best match of the night. It is rare to see that long of a match in today's wrestling.

Jericho/HHH was decent, but how could you follow up on Hogan/Rock?
 
The tag match sucked ass.


Funniest moment:

Molly Holly - "TO the Hurricycle", then pulls out a frying pan and lays him out.

I agree, I think Rocky's gonna turn heel.

Im not too sure about X-Pac being the new member of NWO; he's such a skinny little bastard, and with those damn pants he wears it looks like he's got diapers on underneath! :) I think Taker would fit in with Hall and Nash much better...

Jazz won the Women's title match, of course. The whole match totally sucked; it looked awkward and badly choreographed. Trish is doing much better as far as her wrestling skills and physique are concerned, but I dont think she's ready for pay per view yet :) I almost want Chyna to come back and whomp up on Jazz's androgenous ass. I hate that chick. But Lita is my idol...can't talk smack about her! :)

Anyway, can't wait for RAW tonight. Interesting to see how Jericho and Stephanie's relationship is going to be affected now that HHH is the champ...finally!

He got a fair amount of heat.

Xpac did a dark match the other day. He has put on some serious size - looks like a test/dbol cycle to me. It will be noticable.

Heel = bad guy, face (babyface) = good guy
 
I don't think Rocky turning heel will happen so soon. It will happen eventually, but The Scorpion King is coming out, and McMahon spent a lot of money to produce it. Therefore, keep Rocky a face until summer or so. If kids hate Rocky because he is a bad guy, they might not see the movie.

Then again, Mr. McMahon has stunned the hell outta me a few times before.

I agree though. I've never jumped out of my chair like that for any match in my life. Well... the first time I ever saw Hogan live against Randy Savage when I was 10.

But like you said, that match made me feel like that all over again.

I was so excited.

When Hogan dropped that Leg... I was just plain screaming for the man... and like the crowd, me and my chums counted the 1-2-OOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH! The Rock kicks out. Then I started yelling NOOOOOOOOOO! Because I knew what was going to happen.

I really thought the Rock was going heel... he sure as hell acted like it.

But I'll tell you, all joking aside... Hogan and Rock put on the greatest match of all time. Not because of the amount of "high spots" or dynamic moves... the two men, their presitge, their legacy... The only two I can think where the excitement was in the air like that was Hogan/Andre and Hogan/Warrior. But even those great matches didn't have the electricity like Hogan/Rock.

I will say though... if you notice... Hogan is involved in them all. He is the greatest wrestling draw of all time. And no one can prove otherwise.

Well worth the money.

And it's making wrestling really fun to watch right now. And it's really fun to be a part of it. Even in the independant circuit. There's a lot of energy.

DAMN WHAT A SHOW!!!
 
What was funny Val, was I was over at my wife's sisters house who is'nt even a wrestling fan. She was even going crazy during the Hogan/Rock match. You did'nt have to be a fan to realize what a great moment you were witnessing.
 
Agreed... my mother saw that match... and so did my sister, and my nephew...

(I invaded her house, because she has a huge screen tv, and they were out for the night... they just got home early)


Anyway, they were all cheering Hogan on... and they don't watch it at all.

It was great.

The crowd was incredible.

The only mistake that was made, was not having that the main event.

The crowd was dead for HHH and Jericho.

How the hell do you follow that up?

We are hands down better than other combination in the history of wrestling. You two are so weak, you could'nt even pop a pimple on either one of our asses. Those are facts BROTHERS!!!
