This is one of many reasons why sports (particularly highschool and younger) disgust me. Coaches as well as the kids' parents are obsessed with winning on a level that borders insanity. I've seen it where I grew up many times with highschool hockey because my hometown was consistently winning state championships, if not always a top contender in the their division. Same with football, although the team wasn't quite as good. It's just a bloody game, but oh, it brings lots of money in so who gives a fuck how crazy it gets.
