Would you spend.....

$160.00 bucks on a pair of sneakers???

Nike Women's "Air Max+ 2009" Sneaker - Fitness Sneakers - Shoes - Macy's

I need a new pair of sneakers like every 3-4months. I'm in Love with the new nikes ^^^ but i'm not sure if I wanna spend a buck sixty. I've never spent any more than 120 on sneakers.

What's the most that you spent on running shoes?

Do you think it's a reasonable price?

Because you've worn them or because they look really really cool?

I buy athletic shoes here.

yes i would and id spend more then that...if you like them get them...dont be cheap!!

i paid $200 for the very first pair of nike shox. if you really feel comfortable in them and you think you will benefit from the comfort of the shoes... i say go for it. why not? the new shox i have now were $130 and they feel amazing. you pay for what you get

I wouldn't for the 1.5 hrs. I spend in direct physical activity, but I would for the rest of the day. My feet have become touchy and difficult to fit well. Nikes fit me great and last longer than most.

Comfortable shoes = priceless.

I love KEEN brand sneakers. I didn't want to pay $120 for the ones in the store so I bought them off ebay for $40.... try online options like that or Amazon.com. If you love them, buy them. And then wear them for their best purpose and all the other crap like walking, mowing the yard...etc wear junkers and they'll last hopefully a bit longer :)

Okay, I'm back! I had to get them. I guess I was being frugal and In my mind I was trying to justify it. The thing is that I'm a bargain hunter. If it was like 5% off any price, it wouldn't matter, I would've been like -ohh no prob it's a deal ( i know I have issues :) )

They are worth the money though, they feel sooo comfortable.
I had gone running this morning in my old sneakers and my hip started hurting 40 min into it. It was unbearable, I was looking forward to a long run. Ohh and they are not even that old, maybe like 4 months give or take. I only use them during running and tennis.

Thanx for the link, Chris!
They have some good stuff.

I had tried them on before but I couldn't decide.

that site is good if you have weird shoe sizes too. There's always left overs of really nice shoes that the wanna get rid of.....as long as you wear a 17-22 lol.

I spent £70 ($120ish?) on a pair of Asics for road running last year & I'm still cringing at wasting my money on that impulse buy. Seriously, slip a pair of sorbothane double strikes in to any half decent trainer & you're good to go, they even make my shitty card board army boots comfortable for fel running.
