Your definitions of the two definately lean towards under paid... how about if it was asked this way.

Over paid....bullshited your way to the top, however you know its only a matter of time before they find out.

Under paid... Under appreciated for your abilities and work possible due to office politics.

Overpaid.

Underpaid is ok for your first few jobs but after that it's just insulting unless of course you've made a drastic career change of which you're experience is null even though you have "work" experience.

Overpaid. Cuz hey, there's always inflation!

always take the maximum that the market will bear. it's your obligation to negotiate for the most you can, and for the employer to negotiate for the least they can secure your services. otherwise you are delinquent in doing your part to create efficient markets in our home country. always negotiate offers. when you don't the employer chucles at their victory. when you do, you can tell them to feel secure in the knowledge that every negotiation is important to you, and you'll fight just as hard for their company as you do for yourself.

I want to travel a lot. Lots of challenges. Lots of freedom. Globetrotting.

I think working for a global construction company would suit me.

Flexible hours. Pay? Lots of things are worth more than money.

The world travel and freedom would be absolutely priceless.

I agree...that's why I'd say overpaid! Overpay me as much as possible...because I'd save every penny I could so I could be DONE working that much quicker.

Work sucks bors...I just wanna retire wealthy.
