Would you get involved with someone if you knew they were leaving?

I would...you can become very close to someone in a couple of months to a year. Plus...if you don't...you will always wonder what could have happened had you gone for it! Distance is hard I will say that...but I truly believe in the end it will be worth it. You just have to follow your heart with this one...but I say go for it! What do you have to lose? And you can't go through the rest of your life protecting your heart or you will never be able to get involved with anyone seriously...

Update to me earlier post. Right before she left she emailed me and said everything was a mistake and she never wants to talk to me again. So looks like I won't have to worry about the long distance thing. Good luck to everyone else in their edeavors though.

If I was involved with a woman woman was leaving, I would cut off her head, as well as her parts that were most special to me. Then I would drip hot wax on the parts and keep them in a special place. Sometimes, when I was alone, I would look at her tender, wax coated head and "tender" parts and whisper, "you're mine, all mine, we'll be together forever"... Just my .02
