Wondering how much to push on beast?aiming for mass gain and strength.been doing heavy as possible 5*5 for three exercises per bodypart then a light chaser set of 15 reps of my last exercise.so 16 sets per part.doing chest/tri,back/bis,shoulders/traps/legs.one day on one off ect.max intensity using jack3d(Bp is fine) to the point of throwing up.on 40mg of beast Ed,yes heaps but no sides after 3 weeks.should I push more workouts?in mind I'm after mass so I know I should rest as well.it's my first beast cycle so I'd app the advice
Cheers!

here's the thing, when you train the way you are, 5 * 5, you are in the power stage of lifting... that's fine but to get the most mass gain, you want to be in the hypertrophy stage of training which is 8-10 reps at the highest possible weight you can push for that amount... since i switched to this way of lifting, my size has gone up tremendously... there is no need for any chaser set at the end either... you want to hit 4 sets of 10 at your highest possible weight... i also incorporate one exercise that consists of negatives.... i try to get a 10 second negative on each rep, which is a bitch, but elongating muscles is a good thing as well... switch it up and you will gain more mass friend! good luck!

I can see your point, but with the way I'm doing it I thought I'm hitting both muscle fibers with the 5s and chasers plus also driving in the blood pump on the last set.it feels good too : )

like i said, your doing power lifting, which is good for strength, but not optimal for growth... the chasers are more for leaning out the muscle... it may feel good to you, but its not what you are aiming for...

yes, i do 10 reps, 4 sets as heavy as i can... i do 6 days a week... like for instance monday and friday i do chest and biceps... tuesday and friday i do shoulders and traps and wednesday and saturday i do back and tri's... every 6-8 weeks i change the groups of muscles i do... also, you need to be doing different types of exercise on your body parts throughout the week... don't do the same things constantly or your body gets used to it... i am constantly doing different things...

Good thread... What about max reps to failure?? Im kinda bound by my amount of weight due to my own home gym which is where i have to workout for my schedule.. I have up to 80s dumbells so for bench iv seen a increase in my reps which shows progress, yet questions still doing reps to failure... Btw don't mean to jack thread!

Lol all good more answers the better with you personally I'd be incorporating negatives, pre exhaust and other things to stay within your 8 to 10 range on your main lifts.it's a good question cause with anabolics we are supposed to be able to do more but really what is overtraining when juicing?I know I can go everyday but also know my body needs rest to grow
