working out & dating

Hard-Bitten

New member
Hey, I put this thread in the fitness forum because it mainly concerns regulars who work out on a regular basis more than relationships.

Does anyone find it extremely hard to maintain the diet that you require when you're in a relationship? Usually when I'm single, I have no problem nailing my diet and routine, simply because my life is eat, sleep, and workout. But now I'm involved with some chick and my diet went to udder shit........... so bad that I cancelled my bulking routine. One time I went 6 hours without food. I mean, when we spend time together, I feel embarrassed to eat the way I am required. he would probably look at me weird on why I'm eating every 2.5 hours and chugging all those protein shakes. And when I'm out with him during the night, it is literally impossible to find a decent restaurant that is open and would suit my diet needs. All that is open is $#@* in Burger King and other slop.

How do you guys and gals pull this off??? I would really like to know.....

Luckily my boyfriend is MORE into fitness than I am... So, he eats pretty clean 95% of the time. Makes it easier to do the same :)

(= so maybe I should get with a bodybuilder dude.

yeah, you gotta find a girl who will kinda fit into your schedule.

Its easy to let yourself slip.
I did it in a little over a year. I put on 40lbs.
Now I just do my own thing. I would rather have a ripped body then not. If I have to eat real clean and on a schedule that is what I will do.

Ummmm never had this problem. If someone thinks that I am wierd because of my lifestyle, then we need not date. On the other hand, if I FEEL LIKE eating/drinking whatever I want I dont need some pansy-ass shaking their finger in my face disapprovingly.

Fair (=

I just find it extremely more difficult..

That is because you are young and too damned amiable.

When you get to my age, you rightly dont give a fat rat's ass anymore. Makes life soooooooooooo much less complicated.

Date a bodybuilder and be ready for some guy who prefers to look at himself and not you. Talk mostly about his workout, food and training and not talk about your day or even the "news" LOL

So yah it will be OK that you eat every few hours but don't expect any attention from him and make sure you always tell him he's big & lean...he's gonna need to hear that a lot.

ps. you should learn how to poke people with needles too LOL

date a people pleaser
I always find a girl who is super insecure and use it against her to prep all my food, give me massages, buy my supplements, go shopping for me, do my laundry, clean the house ect...
then after my show I dump her

works like a charm

Does your lesbian GF look like a truck driver?
If so it's going to be tough to keep your fit ass of yours

Depends how far into the relationship you are in. I explained to my girlfriend how I did things and why I did them for working out. She understood and was very helpful with it.

SHE started working out after a while of watching me do it and eating right. So after a while we were both training together. We also had the sex.

The awesome sex.

Then I married her and eventually two little humans came out of her vagina.

One at a time, and in different years.
