Always wanted to set up a place to workout at home. Would be so much more convient when short on time. We dont have basements here but I do have this mini garage I could at least put a bench and maybe powerrack. Could really use the space of a basement.

I tried that, but I found that I don't have the focus that I need to workout at home. When my kids or my wife calls, I tend to put down everything. :)

for me its a great thing,but does take an extra kick in the ass sometimes to do it.

however my only other option is a 20 min drive to a half ass gym that doesnt even have fucking washrooms and is in a store basement turned into a gym. if im paying 40 a month I want a steam room and fancy shit.

so I shopped kijiji got a half rack with a cable system on it with a 200lb stack and 600lbs of plates, various dumbells etc,for 350$ and I have an elliptical,plus my crossfit stuff
 
I wake up at 6am, at work by 8am until around 5pm. Go home for dinner and a little time with the kids, then off to the gym around 8pm. Back home around 10pm, then I usually have a little free time for a movie, cigar, bourbon or two minutes of serving the wife until I go to sleep around midnight. Things like shitting, fapping, and fucking are usually done whenever I can get to it. Meals are pretty strictly kept on a schedule.
 
I don't work out at home but I do work out right up the street at my uncles house. Its .2 miles up the street and no 1 is ever home, its great having it all to yourself.
I hate the gym! I hate the people in the gym! Have you ever seen the " morons at the gym" thread?
It's my uncles house but my equipment.
It was a trade off, I get a nice big basement to workout in and he doesn't have to pay a gym membership anymore.
We got everything you really need.
Bench and rack combination.
You know the kind you pull the bench out raise the bar pins and there is your squat rack.
Dip Machine
Pull up bar
A rack of about 2 dozen solid db's and a rack of interchangeable ones.
Preacher curl
Declined sit up bench
Curl bar
5 foot straight bar with thick grip.
Everything you need to do a decent 5x5.
I would really like to have a cable pull and a peck deck, those are the only things I really miss from the gym.
Unc is talking about an addition late this summer that would give us even more room. So maybe I'll start shopping around the interwebs.
