If someone loved me and couldn't afford a ring I would marry him....expecting that once we had some money I would get a ring. The ring in a symbol of eternity....HELLO

What if he could afford it, but just thought there were better ways of spending it; would you consider any of the following as acceptable alternatives (let's say in lieu of a $5000 ring, just to choose a figure):

a) seed money for a child's education fund
b) remodel the kitchen of the home you plan to share
c) some kind of cosmetic surgery you've been wanting/thinking about getting
d) furnishings for the house you two will share

But if you ever saw palladium it was probably mixed with gold. Rarely does anyone get a ring set in pure palladium; the sheer cluelessness of the board in discussing it is evidence thereof.

As to rappers....it was never about Strontium, it was Selenium all along. Where have you been?
