Women: would you marry a guy without a diamond ring?

TC2 said:
If you really think about...that's some pretty shallow shit if a woman isn't going to marry a man because of lack of a ring.

Shallow, cheap looks like everyone can be faced with being called something.

But until momies, dadies, girlfriends, strangers stop judging women and their mate by the rock on her hand nothing's going to change.

I guess women should buy their own rings if they really want one.

Then you can brag to your friends about what great taste you have and start bitching about how cheap your future husband is before you marry him, you know just to get some practice.

It's not about what other people think, it's about what your woman thinks. If she doesn't care what other people think of her ring then the issue becomes moot, but if she does then you should buy her a ring she can proudly show to other people.

In essence, when broken down to it's bare bones, it's about pleasing your future wife and making her happy. In marriage, sometimes sacrifice is needed to please the other half, and if you aren't willing to accept that then don't bother getting married in the first place.

$10K??? damn that's ridiculous. I spent $2000 on a pretty ring that she loved. Actually we both paid for it since we have had a joint account for a long time. Now with the wedding a few months away, we're both paying for the wedding ring also. Hell, she's paying some of it with her tips that she makes being a hairstylist. She's real
