Alright, i have realised it is the time in my life to kick this dirty fucking habit. I am quitting smoking for good this time. I am motivated, I no longer have a smoking GF, and cigarettes are going to be the end of me. Not to mention it has been really hypocrytical of me to train so hard than ruin it later on in the day when i puff on the ole cancer stick!!!!

Never been a heavy smoker, but a smoker nontheless.

Wish me luck folks, I'm gonna need it!

I wish you the best of luck man. When it get's tough log on to
www.smellypukinghabit.com and see what you are preventing yourself from suffering. Also, if heart just isn't enough... maybe try Wellbutrin or something. Or, go to a hospital and view the lung cancer/ enphysema patients. That'd probably make you forget the urge. Good luck bro.

nicorette gum is on hand, and LOTS of carrots/cellery

good luck bro, you'll notice the benefit in health pretty quickly, use it for motivation!

Good site crazier...

Good luck to you Guards! My dad quit a year ago after smoking for 35 years...he had a lung cancer scare last year and sure enough he hasn't touched a cigarette since...

Quitting smoking was not nearly as hard as I thought it was going to be - someone told me, right when I decided to do it, that it takes 21 days to break a habit, and that a craving lasts 8 minutes.

I am way stronger than 8 minutes! So are you. Every time you crave, tell yourself it's only another few minutes. Chances are, you'll forget you even wanted one... and 21 days is not a long time at all! Three weeks and it's over! You can do it :)

You won't believe how good things smell, how great food tastes, how energetic you feel, how healthy it feels when your palate isn't tickling you in that way that tells you you smoked too much last night. You won't get bronchitis this winter. You're going to become anal about your laundry smelling good. You're going to pass smokers on the street, and be shocked at how strongly they smell of it, how bad some people's breath is... You'll probably have a hard time believing you ever smoked. (This is what happened to me, in any case!)

Let us know how you do, we're all rooting for you! It's the best decision you'll ever make

Quitter.

Smoking crack should take the edge off.

Methinks.

Then again, I just finished a morphine injection to my armpit, so perhaps a murderous spree with hangings could be beneficial.

Chopsticks and Greensleeves.

Man that shit is tough, good luck. I was able to quit Copenhagen back in August. Only because I spent two weeks in a coma and when I left the hospital I didn't have a craving. I also lost 35 pounds in that two weeks, had pnuemonia, 2 bacterial infections, a heart attack, and a body temp of 108 when I was admitted.
I guess all that crap flushed the nicotine craving out of my system. I had tried many times before and it is one hell of an addiction.

GOOD LUCK

Buy a pack of unfiltered Camels. That should do the trick.

I put on 20lbs. when i quit. That should be motivation enough if that's one of your goals.

Unfortunately tho, I started again from school stress (weak). Well it was either that or freebasing.

good luck dude..........i recommend a bulking cycle while your at it......:D

This is actually very good advice. I put on some good size after I quit, plus my endurance imroved dramatically.

One lesson I learned from quitting, no matter how long you've quit, never fool yourself into having a smoke "just for kicks." If you're like me you'll be buying a pack in no time after that. once an addict, always an addict.

Good luck.

The funniest thing I ever saw was my cousin getting home from the Army and announcing when he was drunk that he was done with smoking and it was a stupid fucking habit he wished he never started. The bastard stayed drunk for three days and woke up and said I did it. He says the urge is there for three days as a physical addiction, after that, its a mental addiction. Never had one since.

Best of luck on kicking the old habit. Get as much sex as you can to get your mind off the cancer sticks!!

Yup....I'm still a non-smoker.

Haven't touched the things in about 8 months and I have learned to hate the smell of cigarettes.

Smoking sucks
