Winstrol - Leg Rehab

Hows it going?

I'm new to this site and would like some help. I am an athlete who didn't really get back into sports seriously after breaking my left leg a few years ago. My leg still functions and has enough flexibility however it is much smaller than my other leg. I am a basketball player and my left leg was my power leg and i had very good athleticism.

I started getting into weight training about a year and a half after the break and have been on and off (financial reasons etc.). I started getting far too big to play basketball 5'11" 235 10% bodyfat, and when I was working my legs I never isolated each leg, so my right leg kept getting stronger than my left leg (I weighed 185 before the break.) and this totally destroyed my game. I just became addicted to putting on muscle. The stongest supplements I took were Novadex XT by Gaspari, with the usual, K-Pro, Glutamine, BCAAs, Multi, ZMA etc.

I never really rehabbed my leg for basketball, and the added weight just kept my game grounded (after relying on athleticism most of the time.) In a way it was good because it forced me to work alot more on my skills and I always get motivated and then fall back down.

I haven't consitently worked out since June, when I was up to 235 (i started in January of that year at 196.) Now I am 195 (bad habbits etc.)

Now that im at a basketball size again and that the supplement industry is kind of shady, it makes sense to me to use something real. I want something that will help me get my thigh maybe 3 inches larger in time for summerleauge while not putting on more bodyfat (or reduce bodyfat at the same time.) I'd also like some advice on what kind of program to be on to get the size on one leg while keeping the other leg the same size or making it slightly stronger, and keeping my upper body the same size (I don't wanna gain much on my upper body in terms of size, but I do want some explosivness not from the chest, but from my shoulders and triceps.)

Basicly I wanna gain alot of size on one leg, but not too much on the rest of my body:confused:

I was thinking about injectable winstrol but know nothing about it. My main fear is that after my leg is back, I don' wanna use anything anymore. Can I maintain my gains naturally? I may also take another stack after the season, to focus on plyometrics, explosiveness (speed, vertical.) Is there something for that?

I don't think steriods are what you need. You need to just develop a training routine to work out that one leg. I'm no expert but seems fairly simple. Double up on your reps with the smaller leg. Leg curls cable exersizes, hell even leg presses with one leg.. use the other for stability. My right and left bi/tris are asemetrical. Left is smaller but i'm gradually catching it up by simply doubling the reps. I do my normal routine then add an extra set and a burnout for my left that i'm working. I just dont' think winstrol would help you much.. Not to mention the sore joints you may get on it. It would hinder your ball playing. Good luck man and hop over to the training forum. Some good help there!

Step away from the winny. If you are a basketball player winny I don't think is for you. Winny is great for collegen growth but the quality of the collegen sucks, so you end up with weak joints. Last time I looked basketball players put some serious stress on their joints. Might want to do some more research and just go to the http://www.elitefitness.com/forum/weight-training-weight-lifting/ and someone will be able to help you without potentially messing up your body. Good luck to you!
