she's not guilty of 1st degree murder IMHO....no premeditiation in the murder, as it was an accident, her actions afterwards were inexcusable

will she get parole?

She did intend to kill the man, for she pulled her car into her garage, out of sight of the public, and volitionally left him to die, knowing the extent of his injuries. Simply because she did not mean to hit him is not the crux of her charge. The willful prevention of his aid is.

She is not a threat to society, such as say a serial killer, but her punishment is for the ideological basis of her actions.
