Yes, I have no problem with the tax cut, though I feel it is still a band aid to the real problem. You can scream to the heavens as much as you wish that it was a "tax cut for the rich", but that does not make it true. Although, your constant whining of this rhetoric does show a statist theme: you favor the selective distribution of wealth. Take from the rich as much as you can, since we all know that rich people obtain their money from unethical practices, and give to those who have little. When tax cuts are in order, don't allow every "taxpayer" to regain some of his pilfered property, only those who are deemed "worthy".
So you are saying that there is no other way to reduce the budget, save taxing the populace more? Is this your only solution? Bush is overspending, not undertaxing. I know that statists such as yourself, can't see this part of the picture, since it allows for tax relief, and for you the only way government can fix problems is to tax the rich to pay for the solution.
It is amazing that you even believe that maintaining the higher tax burden on the populace sounds like a good idea. It shows the level of ignorance that the masses will accept.
