Just a quick question guys. I'm soon starting my third cycle. I messed around a bit after my last cycle and diet became poor and I lost some gains. Question if when I start my new test deca cycle will my old gains come back on very quickly and will I make more new gains or will I just get my old gains back and nothing extra? Thanks in advance for any advice

i agree with what steve said... you can't expect a miracle to get everything back on a cycle... you need to train even harder after your next cycle, not let yourself go... your pct and bridge is so vital to your success.... you can't just work hard on cycle and then expect it to stay after without working hard... train natty, get at least some of your gains back and then run your cycle... you can always improve gains but you have to maintain before you can improve...

I know how to hold my gains between cycles guys I've done it before.I hardly spent 100s on a cycle to throw it all away after all the hard work. I was going through a rough time an got a bit fed up for a while an couldn't eat. Training stayed good but diet was awful, 2000ish cals. Everyone goes bad patches in their life. Nobody is perfect. I've sure you guys have had low points in your life, if not I'm jealous. I've got myself back on track now an diet dialed in again. I can eat and train like a champion, 4000+ cals. I didn't get depressed on purpose. I'm ready to go back on and gain and maintain like a motherf****r. All i'm asking is will my old gains come back quickly along with some extra or will I just get my old ones back with nothing extra?

I know a guy who only goes to the gym when he is on cycle lol. It's just a massive waste of money more than anything. Train hard every session on and off cycle. No pissing about!

you are more likely to have issues in your early 20's.. I went through the same thing. career, college, gf's/bf's lol, or whatever else will fuck with your training. thats why like i said above make sure you are prepared to invest a lot in this lifestyle before going on roids. I wasn't attacking you, just giving guidance.

you have a very good chance of making back your gains quickly IF you do what i said to do.. make back most of your gains natty, THEN jump on cycle to zoom you over the top. obviously at 21 you haven't even come close to your genetic potential. the strongest beasts at the gym you will notice are in their 40's, not in their teens or 20's. there is a reason for that. its all about experience and hours logged in the gym. so there is no way you have set PR's that you can never reach again, if you keep killing it you should year over year be breaking barriers both with mass and strength.

Remember when you are training, you might not have gains you can see in the form of your muscles being massive, but your bones are thickening, and your body is preparing a monster-esque frame for later. . . .assuming you keep training like hulk

i wasn't trying to attack you either but you have to look at how you phrase your question before you write it... i don't know what anyone goes through in their personal lives, i just try to help and answer questions as accurately as possible... i do know one thing... i used to party 5 nights a week... i did drugs, i drank, i stayed up all night long, but you know what, no matter that, depression, wtfever was going on in my life, my a$$ got up every day (sleep or no sleep) and went to the f'ng gym and busted my a$$... i mean, some days, i would puke after cardio and still go hard at my lifting, just from all the partying... point being, it doesn't matter what is going on in your life, the gym is always there for you and you should always go to it, depressed, messed up, whatever the case... now, you have a choice... i think by what your saying, you really want to make some good gains and it sounds like your heart is in the right direction... so bust your a$$ and you will get your gains back... if you made the gains once, you can do it again... do it natty for about 3 months and see where your at... if your getting a lot of gains back, hit your cycle up, if no, go until you've gotten back some of what you had before... good luck man...

I am trainin like the hulk, I haven't lost any strength since my cycle and my last jab was 21 weeks ago. I have already gained back some of the weight I lost.

By the way Steve I'm not 21 I'm 25 and I don't have to worry about college , gf/bfs etc as I'm married and have two kids.
I have gained naturally and got to a point were things slowed down. I'm not one of these dudes that do a cycle then start another 8 weeks after last one. I take my time between cycles because I don't want to on all the time. I do them when I feel I need too.

The reason I started this thread was because the guys in the gym tellin me when you go back on you get back any gains you lost from a previous cycle back in a few weeks then you will gain some more too. I just want to know if this is the case

^^^ well a good rule of thumb i learned years ago from a former marine/ironman is when you take time away it usually takes half as long to get back to where you were.

so if you took 6 months off, then it will take 3 months of killing it to get back to where you were. of course there are variables and no one can give you an exact answer but that is a good approximation IMO. who am i to disagree with a guy like that though.. he was 62 years old when i would train with him and he would rip off 45 pullups in a row after we would run 7 miles. he was a beast

By the way Dylangemelli if you read my first post you would see it clearly said my training stayed good throughout it was just my diet got crap.

I am extremely dedicated, since I started training I haven't missed one single session. If I can't get one day I'll do it on a off day. I have never missed a muscle group any week. I go to the gym when I'm sick, hungover, depressed whatever, I've even been when I had the shits all day and it's a 25 min drive to the gym is that dedicated enough for you?

I see it over and over again on these forms people not reading the posts properly and flaming guys about things they weren't even doing wrong.

Only problem I had was diet that's it. It's back on track now.

no actually the problem is actually people like you... you come here wanting help and you have all kinds of good people that take time out of their day to offer advice and help people out... then your a prick about it if you get any type of criticism... your question is so self explanatory... yet we still tried to help you... steve told you already and so did i, you train natty until you start to see some gains come back then go for a new cycle... your not going to get all your gains back in two weeks okay... and to even think that is absolutely ridiculous... if you can't take criticism don't post questions! we were just trying to help you... to me, there's no excuse to let your diet go bad, but it happens, so now you just need to fix it, which it sounds like you will... don't expect your gains to come back in two weeks but if you bust your a$$ you will get them back soon enough... you did it once, you can do it again...
