Will Clomid help better a females sex drive?

I know this is most likely not the correct forum for this question but I feel this forum is packed with members that may have the knowledge to answer my question and compared to other forums on EF the response time from the members is much less at the steroid discussion forum.

My girl's sex drive is pretty low for her age(30) and we've talk a lot about her issue but, until her health insurance kicks in a specialist is just out of the question. Since she switch companies her insurance won't start for another month and a half and I was wondering if Clomid would help boost her sex drive like it does mine. Because its made for women I think my wife would consider it. Does anyone have experience with women taking Clomid and at what dosages?

yeah, my wife.....
her sex drive never came back after the baby, now shes thinking of talking to a doc about it
 
Daiy girl is correct about clomid being used as a fertility drug in women. I seriously doubt it will increase her sex drive but she has ahigher chance of getting pregnant and having multiple babies.

Check out buydostinex.com.. I believe they had some information about prolactin levels in women after they have babies that kills their sex drives...
BTW... Daisy's avatar increased my sex drive.. try showing it to your wife :)

it depends on the quality of the Y.
It works the same for man and women ..snort it or put it under the tongue...
don't take too much or it can make u feel like shit...

Its the same way with my wife and it SUCKS...but the worst part is our son's 10 years old and her sex drive is steadily declining. It's goten to the point that we know the situation isn't going to resolve itself so, its time to go see the doc.

I thank you and my wife thanks you as well for everyone's help and I'm sorry about taking so long to comment on your thoughts but I've been stuck at a car dealership all day buying a new suv and I just got home.

You should take her to an endo and have them perform some thorough bloodwork... they'll be able to spot any hormonal issues that could be causing this problem.

You can guess all you want and buy this and that (and might luck out with a temporary solution) but there may be an underlying factor that you guys are missing.

Giving her clomid may cause her to release MULTIPLE EGGS during her menstrual cycle and the chance for conception increased (and even conception of twins, or even a litter :eek2: ) becomes much more likely...

Clomid is used in women to make them release eggs :)

She would probably be better off with something like Tribulus or even Doctor prescribed transdermal Test patches...

I had a VERY important person to me walk out of my life last month and that did ALOT OF DAMAGE to me :(, and I realized HOW MUCH hold on me she really has...:o
But that seems to have been resolved now and things are getting more back to normal (the way they were, and the WAY I LIKED...:))

That looks to be the road we are on, and its not making us very happy. I had a crazy sex drive before gear, you can imagine what its like on this much test, so the imbalance between the two of us's sex drives is becoming a large problem. She wants to give that p7 stuff from ulters store a shot, I also think a trip to the doc couldnt hurt
