how many of you wear them?

Do you wear them as undershirts or as shirts b/c you are so cool?

Do you wear the camo ones?

i think once you have had muscles for awhile you start to drift away from the tank top/cut off shirt scene.

muscle noobs that just did a cyle love to rock beaters.




you see me in my avatar..that was 2 years ago when i was still a noober.

Ive never liked to wear tank tops at all. If its just that im insecure about how I look or not im not sure. But i dont think i fill them out enough hehe. I only wore em a little while when preparing for my show, just ot show some veins off in the gym. Other than that i prefer tshirts.
 
No, but I do wear stafford undershirts as regular shirts and I wear socks with sandels when it's cold enough out to do so. I do this to annoy people.....and because i want to.
 
I don't like em.. Even if I was jacked I don't think I'd wear them.. I think they look trashy, unless you are in a water environment

I wear them daily

I wear them under my shirts.....but will strip down to a wife beater with the quickness at every opportunity because I'm YOKED & Jacked.....

never owned a Camo Beater........
 
i saw this guy at the mall yesterday wearing a camo one with camo cut off shorts and boots. he was like 6' 150#... fit the persona of some people here
 
for bed and a fresh one as an undershirt for button downs

but never out in public
 
You wouldn't catch me dead in one. My friends that wear them make me laugh, usually never do again after I make fun of them though. Only in good fun, not in a bully way. Sometimes I like to make people see the light. Wife beaters are bad. Pussy good. Wife Beaters usually equals beating your wife or girlfriend. Coinsidense? I'm not too sure.

Not passing judgement on anyone here. I don't want subzero to scold me again. :)
 
Under a dress shirt or sweater. There is this one guy at my old gym that would wear one to the gym evry time I seen him there. The dude also had the worst acne(juice realted) I ever seen. from his elbows up looked almost like pizza. He even would bust one out when it was -15 degrees in the middle of winter. He was a total tool in more ways than one.
 
i wear them under shirts...i sweat alot so its a must. usually just lounging around the house otherwise

when i was more jacked i would wear some cool sleeveless shirts...they were great shirts, just happened to have no sleeves.But never really a straight white tank top.

i think skinny girls can look really hot in wifebeaters (with some type of design) if the rest of their look coincides with it.

how the rest of you looks plays a big part of if you can pull one off. If you're a white pasty dude, you'll look like you walked out of a trailer park. If you're dark skinned, dark haired, don't have a lame haircut, and are in decent shape it can look a little different and better
 
I rarely wear them, usually on the walk over to the pool and back(200m). For some reason a lot of the chicks I've dated have suggested I wear them. wtf??? Maybe it's my taste in women. :worried:

Since no one answered me I used my brilliant internet research skills and have deduced that a Wifebeater is the common tank top shirt. Were I live we call it a Guinea-T. Never heard the term Wifebeater.

I wear them as much as possible. I'm hot blooded, so T's are too hot & if I go topless there's a good chance I'll get harpooned.

Yeah, in the Midwest they are commonly known as wife beaters. Yes, a designer tank top is still a wife beater. :)

OK. I learned something today. Here in NJ/NYC area the term Guinea-T refers to guys from Brooklyn who would drive Chevy Camaro Z28 and say Fuggetaboutit alot.

I wear them in the summer but I drive a Nissan Maxima and I speak the Kings English.
 
I'm from the midwest.. Around here it is considered trashy to wear them as primary shirts (we don't have beaches)
 
I wear them as undershirts, when I'm doing something physical outside like playing bball or disc golfing and I'll wear one if it's hot. Not if I'm out and about though.

only way you should be wearing beaters is if you look like rungo from battle arena toshinden
 
I wear them in the summer just loungin or at the beach,I sweat alot and will sweat through a t-shirt quick. however Im im going to a bar or anywhere really I wont wear a tank,not my thing

so am i right now though lol.

if you sweat alot, you need something to absorb the sweat.do you really want that sweat seeping into a button down shirt or whatever else you're wearing. a regular white tee is too much, so i just wear those.

I dont live like right on the beach or whatever..But yeah having it about 15 minutes away by vehicle is real Nice!
