Id be wondering why the fuck my husband had a secret stash of cash when all our monies are combined and we both have full access to all accounts etc. I wouldnt spend it ($1200 is a lot to spend on this and that) but I'd confront him about it.

it wasnt all that "secret" like super duper hidden.
and she should have known (knows now) its a stash for my asian trip in the fall.

If you find money, and you KNOW it is not yours, why would you spend it?

I would say asking first is in order.

Also 'this and that' to a woman translates to:

- shoes
-perfume
-facial care/beauty care products
-manicure/pedicure
-new dress
- lingiere
- jewellery for the new dress
- handbag for new dress
-wee bit of grocery shopping


Those essential things, girlie maintenance. :)

Maybe she spent it because she was pissed that you had a secret stash. I mean how would you feel if she had one? I have only heard of people having a secret stash for two reasons. Men it's usually because they need funds to do things on the down low from the wife. Women it's because they are saving up funds before they tell their hubby they want a divorce.

Not saying that is your case I just know shady people that have saved for those reasons.

thats why you keep your money seperate form the wife...
i have seperate accounts for everything...she spends hers..i spend mine...
we go out i usually pay etc etc... but for normal every day spending she needs to stay away from my shit...some people have no respect for money and will blow every last bit of it without even considering when more will come

Her spending it on 'this and that' is worse than your stashing, IMO. She spent it , possibly on unnecessary stuff. In an emergency you theoretically could have pulled it out and spent it on something important to both of you.
 
I wouldn't have thought too much about my hubbie having some cash around. I wouldn't have spent it but I would wonder a bit if he felt he had to hide money.

There is no motherfucking way Id give my wife access to my bank account. Married or not you should still have access to your own money.. you should NEVER have to justify what you spend your paycheck on.

I have 3 accounts of my own-
wife does not have access but I would not care if she did. My wife makes more money than I do.

nobody should have to "justify" but I think a new Corvette or Viper for example should at least be discussed :lmao:

Yes she took it.
It was in a box in a drawer that is mine and semi private.
she's allowed in the drawer but knows there is nothing in there of interest to her.
hell at first I thought the housekeeper stole the cash.
 
razy to think she would just snatch it up...just figured oh well my husband wont miss this money..ill buy myself something nice....lmao...

It's good that she replaced it, but my God...that she had the audacity to just spend money she knew wasn't hers boggles my mind. That'd cause me to not trust her from that point forward.
