Why?!?!?

hmmm...what IS soy sauce anyway. I never even thought about that.

Are you gluten intolerant? My mother is and lost 100 poundsbecause she doesn't eat anything healthy anymore. All that crap at the "health food" store costs an arm and a leg too.

It's a fermented sauce from soy beans - I never realized it had grains it too.

I found a substitute but it has balsamic vingear in it and I can't do that either.

I can't believe it - I use soy and rice vinegar in stir fry all the time.

Look up Tamari hon. This should help you. Little harder to get then reg soy.

Three main categories of soy sauce are available in the United States: Tamari, naturally brewed and made primarily with soybeans; Shoyu, also naturally brewed and made from half soybean and half wheat; and Nonbrewed, which is made from hydrolyzed vegetable protein.

Ok well not such a stronger taste but more of a natural all soy taste. it has less alcoholic fermentation so you will not taste that bitter taste you get with reg soy sauce.

This is how it was made when making soy sauce was only don in the home by people that new how to make it. Once it went main stream production they started using some wheat or even half wheat because it was cheaper and fermented faster.

Real Tamari has no wheat at all. Like I said its a lot harder to get but its out there. Glad I could help.
