This is why I think I will need to transition from 'fun' league coach to rep team competitive coach very quickly when I start coaching hockey down the road. Losing sucks...and it sucks even more when it's one or two weak links that are mostly responsible for the losing. My advice to you is to get the qualifications necessary to coach in the competitive league in your area if you don't have them already, and stop coaching the 'fun' league. Problem solved. Then you can cut the slow, the fat, the weak, the uncoordinated, the undedicated, the selfish, the lazy, ect. on the first day of tryouts.
