Then it is not women who are manipulating you, it is society. That is what gets me all mad. We're not doing anything bad to you. Maybe one woman did something bad, but we don't have meetings discussing just how to extract so much money from you on a date. If you want to change the status quo, then do it and just don't sit around and talk about how much it sucks.
And thanks...sometimes I think that I like to go shopping just to get away from the guys for awhile.
yes, my anger is borne at society. its completly changed male-female interaction without thinkning about it in a way. most of my post was intended to point out most of my and possibly other mens anger stems from this fact, and the fact that interctingwith men is much easier/simplistic
well i'm not gonna go up to some woman i know and start shouting at her about this stuff
i have been on the receiving end of this stuff a lot (i.e. all men are pigs etc)
the 'its just one man not me' didnt help at the time. i know what your saying is correct. i also know that in my experience, on average my interactions with men have been much more well mannered than those with females (bear in mind im only 20, sadly to say most people my age are still quite immature)
i generally dont even launch into a 'damn that woman' spiel that much, but it happened on this thread because i was shocked that some men wouldnt hit a woman even to defend themselves. occasionally i'll hear a story that will piss me the fuck off....
yes, i fully acknowledge that not all women attend regional seminars on how to get money out of men. but ultimately, ive found it much safer to expect the worst than the best.....and ive been much better for it.
and in case you were wondering i dont exactly hold the majority of my gender in my age group in much esteem either.
polarpixie of course i realise every woman is different. i have met 'good women' before ya know
