Why the HELL does this happen?? Vets??

Check this out, If I drink a few beers and get a little buzz going, my muscles feel and look more tight, pumped and full and hard, kind of like if i just pumped up :worried: :worried:
What the hell??

Could it be that the alcohol is pulling the water out???

Just curious, cause if drinking a few has this cool effect, then rock on!! :) :)

I think the dieuretic effects would be noticable the next day, i have noticed but alchol also thins the the blood. Maybe thinned blood would circulate easier and make it seem like you are pumped. Just a hypothesis maybe some one knows for sure.

Could be but with your rock on comment keep this in mind. It also depletes your body of almost all the vital bodybuilding vitamins and minerals that your body needs to grow. So besides the whole 2 days of your body not rebuilding muscles after you work out you have to ask yourself would I rather dry out or grow?

get drunk off of some 60-100 proof liquor , pass out and when u wake up the next morning you will look ripped as hell..... until you start drinking water again then bye bye striations!!!
 
Alot of Carbs, blood pressure increase and dieuric effect as well.

Personally, if eat alot of carbs I blow up and get a bit stronger as well...
 
I think they are all factors, with dehydration being the primary. I've also noticed that if I am drinking out, I subconciously hold my back more straight and tense my muscles while keeping my facial muscles more relaxed. Perhaps, just like flexing and posing, this has some effect, over the course of a few hours, on feeding the muscles with more blood and hardening for some of us.

speaking of (sorry to hijack).... is it normal to get loaded much quicker when taking sesapure and glucorell before drinking? it always seems to hit my head much faster and stronger, especially with wine

happens to me every time.... however I did not take enough sesapure through the night last time I went out :rolleyes:
