I've sold vehicles to people out of the country, but never financed anyone out of the US.


I know I can't w/any of my Credit Unions, but TD is based out of Canada. So maybe... i'd have to check.

Not even for financing but just sales. I'm gonna talk to you when I'm in the market. I wonder how hard they hit you at the border. Our stupid gov't taxes everything and then some.

I don't know shit about financing cars, but I do know my company won't ever extend credit terms to any non-US companies because we have no way to collect and we can't even run a D&B or any other credit reports on them.

You fill out a credit app

You get approved

You sign paperwork

You drive away in car

I file the lien on behalf of the bank.

You take your car into wtfever you register it and the paperwork is all their already filed. You pick up your plates that's it.


Also, I specifically said that I couldnt use my Credit unions due to lending laws, but I have TD Auto Finance, which is a Canadian bank.

And for the idiot who thinks cash is better, try rolling into a dealership and getting the same incentives with cash as you would if you financed with the auto group.

Most companies offer like 0% for 60 months or 0.9% for 72 plus an additional rebate to finance with wtf ever company made the car (GM, FMC, NMAC) as long as you don't have fucked off credit and a little equity up front

I know that, but there's a difference in profit off the gross and profit off the loan

I don't mind the dealership making a profit off the vehicle gross, but the bank isn't gonna fuck me out of interest. They already get enough out of my ass for my house

they make a larger gross off the front end and give it up on the back end.



It's actually better for them that way because they get to keep more money in the end.

No way I'm paying much over invoice when all I have to do is price shop like a mthrfkr and just keep letting them blow out the deal and lowball each other until we hit rock bottom

new car dealers make most of their money from advertising assistance, floor plan assistance and other hold-backs that don't get released until the car leaves the lot.

stupidity from the top all the way to the bottom is to blame...people buy stuff because they can afford the monthly payment...there is no thought put into the actual value of what they are purchasing. and everyone, not just those on welfare, has a skewed sense of entitlement...there is a whole bunch of other shit wrong too, but those are root problems, right there.
