This isnt a topic that illicits an interesting debate really. Its a simple situation where you are making an environment of temptation by having another man live with you and your girl. Its tempting for both the houseguest and the woman simply because they are around each other in an intimate setting (a living situation). Something is bound to happen sooner or later, so the "hows" and the "whys" dont really matter. Dont try to understand the meaning or read into things too much, sometimes its just best to know what situations need to be summarily avoided.

A much better solution would be to require that any male houseguests ingest saltpeter (or some other limp-dick producer) on a daily basis, as a stipulation of their staying with you.

If you act like that, no girl will want to be with you. Don't let this experience turn you against all women. Maybe you just got a bitch. Doesn't mean they will all be that way.

When you get involved with a girl its like that for a while, but eventually either the relationship stagnates and doesnt go anywhere because you wrote her off as eventually going to cheat anyway. Or your protective wall comes down and you let her in and the relationship goes deeper, I dont think you can have it both ways, meaning you cant expect a girl to cheat on her while both of you giving 100% to the relationship.

That is a great point. You cant be closed off and "deep" at the same time. Heres my solution: treat her like a queen, until she cheats...but you start first, and NEVER let her find out. Just treat faithfullness as something you want her to enjoy without knowing you get all the trim on the side.
