Not trying to be a dick with the couch comment, but, there is an old saying, it takes two to tango. You should be disappointed and hurt not only by your girl but the fact that one of your guy friends would disrespect you too. Now, if shis was just a piece of hide that you had laying around to bang on, then this wouldn't be a problem. But, if you cared for her and a friend knew that and still did this, that should make you focus on that relationship and friendship as well.

I agree that it takes 2 to tango. I'm not trying to just point out my situation, but the fact that this always happens in a similar situation. At least every single one that Ive heard of. The live in girlfriend always ends up fucking the houseguest. Especially if the houseguest is unemployed.

I don't appreciate your comment about 5 cent advice. My comments were absolutely free and I didn't put much thought in to them either. If you start spreading rumors that I give out advice that is worth something or make posts that in any way contribute positively that might become expected of me.

Its tempting for both the houseguest and the woman simply because they are around each other in an intimate setting (a living situation). Something is bound to happen sooner or later, so the "hows" and the "whys" dont really matter. Dont try to understand the meaning or read into things too much, sometimes its just best to know what situations need to be summarily avoided.
