Why is it so difficult to keep gains from a bulking cycle?

Even with proper ptc and diet gains from bulking cycles like deca/test/d-bol cycle seem to disapear over a period of 4 months or so after cycle is completed why is that???????
what would be best cycle for keeping gains long after cycle is over?

thats just it..... do you have to eat and train just as hard as before shouldnt 50 of your gains-water "stick" to your body permanently?

eat as hard - yes, definitely!

train as hard - not so much. your body can accomodate more of an "overtraining" style of training while on AAS. so drop your volume and intensity when off. that isn't saying that you can slack, but remember that you aren't superman like you were on cycle!

i dont know maybe im in the wrong hobby but i cant see myself eatting half liquid meals (3 a day) for the rest of my life!

This is one reason why I like cycles that are 6 months or longer. I find that I can keep much more of my gains that I have acheived this way. Even better if you do a 6 month mass cycle followed by a 6 month cutting cycle.

I can have my wife teach you needlepoint

You have to eat right and train right. That's the advice you'll hear everywhere from everyone. But the reason for that is very simple and unknown by most of the people. Once you understand this and you get used to it, you'll success. When you were for example 160 pounds, you were training and eating for a 160 pounds person. Once you bulk up and you reach for example 190 pounds, you ate and trained for 190 pounds and now YOU HAVE TO KEEP EATING AND TRAINING FOR A 190 POUNDS BODY FOREVER. It is a whole change in your life. Most of the people do a cycle, eat and train like a bull but after cycle they say "OK I'm done, finally I'm big" and they start eating and training like before; so what happen?; our intelligent bodies return to their previous state cause they are not recieving the right nutrition and training to keep that deformation of the human body. It is just simple as comparing a tiger with a cat. A Tiger needs to eat let's say 4 pounds of meat per day while a cat needs maybe half a pound a day and that difference is because the tiger is trying to keep 300 pounds of muscle while the cat is keeping 15 pounds.

I'm sorry for the long explanation but now you got the clear answer to your question. And this is one of the main reasons why experts and pros will always tell you that AAS are not magic.

Can I see a breakdown of what this 1 year cycle typically looks like?

I completely agree with that.
Great explanation.

well psychologically you loose strenght and people tend not to hit it as hard as they were on juice. People tend to hit the gym at 100% intensity when they are on juice, because they know for a fact that they have back up. That no matter what, they will gain , gain , and gain. But without juice, you tend to think that you'll never make the same gains, and with that mentallity, some people don't train as hard, and completely crash. Granted you will loose after your cycle, but if you do things correctly, you should still keep gains..most definately...I am guillty of being lazy at the gym when not on juice, its a fucked up mentality that needs to be addressed.

It is on Elite somewhere. Just do a search under my name and you should be able to find it. I posted it for a couple guys after my last show, which was a year and a half ago, so you may have to look deep. If you cant find it, hit me with a PM and I'll try to find the cycle I did before that show. :)
