Why inject into glutes instead of thighs?

Ok, so I did my first injection today into my glutes, and good god, how the hell do all you guys reach back there? I had a hell of a time reaching. It seems to me like darting your thighs would be much easier, and from the pictures I saw, you can pretty much shoot anywhere in your thighs.

Does injecting into the thigh hurt more? Or can you just not inject as much into it?

The thing I dislike about glute shots is that my hands get shakey. Quads and delts I am pretty steady in comparison.

No it does not hurt more. I think you can inject up to 3cc into the quad, though I never go over 2.

Yes it can be done one handed. I usually grip the barrell of the syringe with my whole hand and pull the plunger with my thumb (or however I can get it done).

The needle doesn't move around as much as you'd think when 1.5" are already in your ass. So it isn't that hard to aspirate one handed. I usually just pinch right at the top of the barrel (where the plunger goes in) and that works well one handed.

I believe there are more blood vessels in the leg. I noticed I aspirate more blood when hittin the thigh.

hell yea there is, and they hurt more too. Easier to hit nervs also. I guess I got bad luck, last two times I tried to go quad I got close to a nerve. leg jumped and the needle popped right out. I am apprehensive as hell now about quad shots.
