Why email a mod if they never respond?

I agree... When I email a Mod asking if he has any knowledge of a certain source or if he is legit, etc... and i dont get an email back... then i have to wait on my cycle, possibly passing the start date in which I wanted to start because the Mod didnt email me back (within 3 weeks might I add, wont say any names). So i have to sit back and either order from someone who I have no knowledge of and possibly get scammed or sit around and wait for eternity for a mod to email me back. Frustrating... I understand where some of you guys are coming from.

Whether or not they get paid is irrelevant. Being a mod gives them alot of power over the board and access to things we dont have access to. If they are just in it for the perks and not to help then they should be replaced.

By the way what article in Business week?

They have access to things we don't??? A lot of the mods here are self-educated, scientists. or people who have done extensive research on various topics such as diet, training or anabolics. We have the same resources at our hands, they are kind enough to share it with us, and to educate us on the various cares and concerns of anabolic usage.

I have never not gotten a response from a mod and I can assure you that I'm not buddys with any of them. most of them probably don't know who I am. Maybe I have been just lucky. Of course I figure they are probably swamped with e-mails and source request so I try not to bother them unless I can't figure out another way.

He's always helpfull and usually responds within 24 hours.

If a mod responds to you you should consider yourself lucky, in that they are not payed to be here wasting 2-3+ hours of thier day to spread the education they obtained from doing thier own research.

There are other boards, and there are books, and there is experience, anything you get for free is FREE and you should be thankfull.

There are some that are definitely more helpful than others. You just need to pick the right ones (the mods who are actually here) and they will help you when they can. But remember they DO have lives outside of here. I really do think this site needs to look closely at who is listed at the top of the page and possibly revamp it. There are others here who could be more beneficial for this board imo. and possibly some who need to be replaced.

In my experience, mods have replied within 24hrs, often much sooner, and they have all been incredibly helpful. I would be lost without them. Much respect to them, especially Huck.

It is nice to know that we are appreciated by some members. This is an incredible amount of work we do for free. We do our best but we are human and do and will continue to make mistakes.
