WHY EF??? And after almost 10 years, WHY STILL EF???

Well, let me tell you a little story...

So, I've been coming around EF since 2000. I registered in 2001. I was just about to turn 29 then. I had been out of the gym from late 1991 until late 2000. Been checking things out since I had been back in the gym. I had friends who had done cycles, and I had done one cycle back in 1991.

Now, if you're doing the math, yes I was WAY too young! I was very informed however. I had read books (remember those?) from these places we called "libraries". No they were not e-books. I actually had to check out a physical copy of a book. I had to turn pages and everything. Anyway, I digress.

Although I was quite well read and informed...I was stupid. EF wasn't around back then. The internet as we know it wasn't even around! When I found this place and started to read all the info posted here, I just couldn't get enough! Man, PCT? WTF was that? We didn't do PCT in 1991! The wealth of info on the pages of EF was far beyond what I had read in any book. I quickly realized how lucky I was. I'm sure many of you have experienced the same thing.

In the last 10 years, I have opened accounts on many other BBing type forums. Some I forgot I had until recently. One site that several of you frequent, I have an account from 2003, with like 40 posts maybe, lol! I have accounts like that all over the interwebs. I'm on probably a dozen different boards (hell, maybe more), but EF is my home.

I made EF my home many years ago. Back in the day EF was THE board. All the other boards combined didn't add up to even half of EF. Now there are a few big boards out there like BB, MD, Rx, LOLogy...but I still come back to EF. This place, the people, the info all over the boards and in the archives...IS THE BEST! Hands down.

Other boards might have good things about them, like one might have a really killer training forum, and another a great supps forum, another a very good AAS forum...but EF has all of that and more...under one roof!!! Even more so now than ever! EF is a one stop shop.

So, take it from an old vet, a guy who's been around all the various Fitness type boards out there...EF is Still the place to be. Why? It is simply the BEST board out there.

What do you like about EF?

Its it really good to see a old well respected vet like your self say this COE.. Wonder what the boys at the af board would think of you saying this?

What do you like about EF?

You're a good writer.

You're a great asset to the board bro....I enjoy your posts and benefit a great deal from your experience

I like EF for many reasons: the people here are great, the knowledge is vast, I like keeping logs and all the feedback I get from the members, great staff, etc..

Legit info.
Vets are helpful to even the newest of the new and don’t act all high and mighty and look down there nose at them.
Retarded shit talkers who don’t actually know what the hell there talking about don’t last thus site is not riddled with useless threads.
No one uses stupid mnemonics like “SWIM” thinking there being clever (LOL)
The fuckers here are so goddamn supportive and encouraging it damn near brings me to tears (post cycle of course<---bad joke).

I could go on and on. All in all there is no board that compares. I’ve hit other boards on occasion when they pop up from a Google search or something but just skim the contents usually but when at EF I read every word because I know the info is going to be worth reading.

Yep, I agree CEO, I have only been around a few years but I have/had about 6 different web site registrations. I always preferred EF, nice people, no bs, no one trying to up the other person, just people sharing expereinces and knowledge for the betterment of all! Great place EF is!

I just posted about being out for a long time and coming right here to Elite. The big draw back for me is the consistency. You do not have to put up with, "is this board going to be here tomorrow or the next day?" On Feb. 5 I turn thirty and I am now finally ready in my life where I am responsible enough to jump back into the steroid world of lifting again. I knew that this place would be here and now I need to just ask questions and listen. This place is a good example of why God gave us one mouth and two ears. There is so much information and knowledge hear i need to only listen and pay attntion and I will finally get where I have envisioned myself for so long.

What do you like about EF?

There has always been a vast bank of knowledge here at EF. Anything Ive ever needed at my finger tips.

Ive been here 10 years also and although I tend to be a goofball chatboard bitch, Ive got pretty good gear knowledge and I try to be the voice of reason when younger guys tend to go overboard with everything. EF is not only my favorite BB board, its the only board Ive seen that lets people truly be themselves while maintaining respect for other members. And as mentioned, nothing else comes close to the vast amount of searchable and archived information. This board also has the best members and mods like needto for tirelessly helping out. EF has been tops since I can remember and Im glad to be a part of it.

I want to ad in too that Ive gotton to know alot of u guys an know what you acomplished and know that you know how to get there.. So that kinda stuff u don't get in books, we all know who's in here really to help each other out... An it feels good to pass that along n Share it with others... In the real world not to many people obbsesswd with this stuff like us were kinda outcast in a way... Thank god we have ef here to bring us together so were not a bunch of lonly yolked gym freaks lol

I am with you CEO, Started at this board in 99', back when animalb , e2, ranger, and rest of the crue. Then George updated the board and made improvements to the way it looks, and through the years, the chnages that have been made.. This board still "ROCKS" I left the board for many years, but never forgot where I came from. I finally came back, and yet Elit Fitness is still the damn BEST out there.. The newbies, and the Oldies but Goodies, is what makes EF the best. EF will continue to Rock forward everyday.. Semper Fi! To all......

What do you like about EF?

Excellent post and as you know i joined about same time as you and a lot of your post is very very similar to my own story.

I remember the books very well and the internet changed so many things as what was written in books could actually be challenged and debated.

Back then there were very few boards now there are numerous

Now most is about supps which has largely taken over the boards as have the growth agenda of those boards

Wrongun!

I feel ya ceo.
when i was 16 and didn't know a thing about lifting, EF taught me it ALL.
It helped give me my core.

that and years of cleans, presses, deadlifts, and squats.

great members, mods, and mentors on the site.

I love EF because everybody is so respectful to each other and insults are not tolerated. It is a wonderful place. The advice is also amazing and I have gotten a lot bigger and stronger since joining EF. I love you guys.

I love EF.

This site has given me the knowledge and skills to surpass all goals I have ever set for myself in this bodybuilding game

Apart from that Ive always felt welcome and comfortable to share anything I need. theres some good bros on here, and EF always cures my boredom!

Ive been here for almost 8 and i would never leave....way too mich knowledge i learned from here as well as my new friends...i love EF and give it a big thumbs up!

I like EF because of the way folks look out for each other here :rainbow:.
From noobs to vets nobody gets treated like shit ( unless its some new guy stinkin up the joint with a bad attitude ) ...and you see alot of that elsewhere.
Heaps of good info in not just the anabolics section but the other areas too. Mods , mentors and vets are always happy to help and i have benefitted from some real solid advice through PM's from Needto,RADAR,joe d ,CEO ,SL and the list goes on......

My only gripe is there is too many dam Aussies and not enough Irish ! ( jk:D )

This board has helped me in more ways than I can count. It's also nice to be able to OPENLY discuss anything ranging from, AAS to scoring with chicks to breast implants for the wife. There's a lot of good people here. If you're feeling down, just start a thread about feeling down and countless people will jump in to "motivate" you. A very warm, friendly atmosphere. I'm glad I'm back.

this board has been in my life for most of my adult life. Lurked around since 1999 when i was 22 yrs old, joined in 2001....learned so much through the yrs and although i never really posted that often, i was on these boards almost daily for many yrs. after taking a long break, have been back and am competing in my very first comp nov 20 with the help of this board. the search engine on here is the best thing I have ever found in going about getting the answers that i need, aside from the obvious help from the mods. {wont name names since yall know who u are}
i really appreciate this board and it has helped so much in my physical development. Ive checked out a few of the other boards out there in the past but none of them even remotely compare to this one.
geez, cant believe almost 11 yrs here for me...heres to making it many more 11 yr stints!!!

10 things i love about EF:

10. Great collection of information regarding diet and exercise, 2nd to none.
9. Good "band of brothers" here, where others have fallen from many different boards; I see the same people here after 6 years.
8. I can call newbies a faggot for not reading the rules as long as they happen to be a homosexual.
7. I can say word "fuck", and my shit gets posted and not censored out.
6. Oh, I can also say the word "shit".
5. After believing I was bribed with Karma hits into getting the lifetime platinum membership, I now realize I that it was one of the best investments I've made despite the fact that I have gambled all of my 10 million karma crowns away.
4. The older guys keep giving me Karma so that I can spend more time with the Karma bookies despite being a gambling junkie.
3. I'm pretty sure my dick has gotten bigger since I came here.
2. I'm pretty sure my dick has gotten bigger since I came here.
1. No matter how long a vacation I take from this place, NEEDTO still knows who the I am.

good stuff! Ef is still the best. I've spent more time on other boards recently, and I can say without a doubt that none compare to EF. We got a great thing here bros and broettes.

Been here since 1998. It was a lot harder to get accepted and trusted. I watched ad it grew from a couple boards to what it is today. Been a mod and more. I even use my training in a job i held to help sniff out the narcs on this site posing as illiterate needs. I remember 2thick and others. I still come here cause its my home.
