It's his fucking life for gods sake, he doesn't have tell us dick. Fact's are he probably got beat with a 9 iron by his wife so obviously he's not about to get into that is he? That's all I'm seeing today on the tv, when is tiger gonna spill it? Who fucking cares leave it alone.

I understand wanting to know but I don't see any obligation on his part. As long as he's willing to deal with the assumptions if he doesn't then it's his business.

exactly, but I'm reading that unless he comes clean his image is forever tarnished....what? It's like somebody snapped the dude having hookers do line's off his cock or something. Not one of his sponsors is going anywhere over this, not a one.

Cops can put as much presure ast hey want (they don't want the world to think they just said 'okay let's go home boys'). They have a job to do.

Tiger and his wife also have the right to say 'FU' and say nothing unless there's a court order.

In the end - nothing will happen. Even if they got evidence, 99% the DA won't press charges. Think they want a media circus outside the courtroom for essentially mickey mouse charges?

That's modern day America for you. Everyone more interested in celebrities' lives than their own.

This story will probably blow over in a week, but the one about him supposedly fingerbanging the new york waitress is going to be around for awhile.

i made a post like a year or so ago saying tiger woods is the worlds biggest vagina because of his knee injury and how painful it was - mr. super giant vagina meet phil rivers who played nearly an entire nfl game with a torn to pieces knee (and i hate rivers). now, hes the universes largest vagina having hit a fucking fire hydrant and a tree and requiring his super model wife to drag him out of the car. huge fucking pussy.

still the greatest golfer ever though. just a huge fucking fag.

I said to my husband this morning, if it was ANYONE else, some Joe Schmoe, the matter would already be closed. Holy crap, the guy had a single car accident at 2:30 in the morning while driving away from his own house, BFD.

he has sposors paying him millions. these companies depend on the fans buying the products... he does owe an explanation. its part of his job...

can u show up late for work and just not say shit? no

He's in the public eye whether he wants to be or not. That's the unfortunate side of being a celebrity or sports star. He's going to be under a microscope for quite some time, especially when it comes to being around any hot women, whatever the reason may be. I bet his game suffers a bit as a result.

Actually, I can because they value what I do once I get there.

Phil Rivers is a football player...ie a real hardcore athlete that competes in a SPORT...a contact sport requiring serious balls. Tiger is guy with great hand-eye coordination and mental focus who competes in a GAME...golf is a GAME, not a sport. Big difference.

And I agree...fuck Tiger. I've hated him ever since he had the audacity to insult hockey, that pretend athlete motherfucker.

No it isn't. It's playing golf. Actually the best thing for him is to say NOTHING and let the media get bored and move on.

Give press conferences and making excuses do no benefit. All it does is prolong shit and feed the media. Ask any politician caught in sex scandals past 20 years :)

Sprite pulled Kobe's endorsement after the whole CO bullshit thing. Rape or not (I don't think he did) they don't like shit like that to follow the people they're throwing millions at. Golf's a helluva lot more conservative that basketball too. Ain't no and1 golf tour with people going apeshit over a tap in putt.

He's already given an explanation, he just hasn't "elaborated" on specifics...which he has no obligation to. The work analogy doesn't fit here either.

if you destroy city property i'd say you have some explaining to do

Agreed, and any crash resulting in an injury (which apparently Woods suffered). Driver should also be tested for alcohol level. I could not care less what the extenuating circumstances were, ie argument with wife, but I am curious why he'd want to tag a homely starfooker.

The crash happened inside a gated community i.e. private property. NEXT!

Michael Jordan has had gambling issues and countless affairs. It sure isn't hurting his marketability. This will be over in 4-6 weeks, sooner if some other athlete nuts up.

Yeah - and Colby raped a girl in the ass and he has higher marketability than anyone in the NBA, including Lebron.

I'm quite sure Elin hasn't put out in quite some time and that woman probably gave him a five star porn express ride. She knows that in five years she can write a book about all the celebrities she seduced and make millions.

Football is a sport but it's still just a game. And for the record football players are pussies compared to saying Olympic downhill slalom skiiers, or professional skateboarders who hit the hard ice/concrete after a fall from much greater speeds/heights.
I recently read a statistic that the average length of playtime in an NFL game is about 12 minutes. That's the same length of time as an NBA quarter, where most players are playing almost continuously that long x 4 or more if there's OT. Football is so overrated. The stars of that game for the amount they play on average make over $20,000 per minute of playtime. wtf to all the viewers supporting those paychecks.

I agree on hockey though. It is way underrated, pretty much the opposite of football.

ok, ill give you the skiing part as pretty crazy dangerous but skateboarding compared to football, thats just ridiculous in too many ways. 300 pound monsters running 4.9 and slamming a helmet into your knees which are going top speed in the opposite direction. yea, comparable.

i like that no matter how much money and fame anyone has, we're all the same at the end of the day (we either live to fuck or live to get fucked)

Thats why I like seeing famous chicks in sex vids, brings 'em back down to earth. Roseanne with a face full of man sauce = teh awesome.

I'd like to see Oprah take a load in the eye...she could use a humbling moment like that. Nancy Grace too.

Nancy Grace needs an a2m video release.

Lol check out some skateboarding videos before judging.
Compare those 300 pound padded up monsters pumped full of steriods and the best physical trainers/therapists money can buy to a bunch of mostly scrawny kids in jeans and t-shirts. One of them falls on grass/astroturf and other falls on concrete or worse, a lot of times at equal speeds and much greater heights. With such a hardcore, high contact sport as you say football is you'd think there'd be more injuries. Sure, getting tackled my make them sore after a game but overall they're still pampered in comparison to skateboarders (who admitedly have to be at least a little crazy for some of the shit they try to do)-

There's pages of this type of stuff on youtube, so yeah it's probably safe to say that skateboarding is more hardcore and high contact than football.

Tiger’s imperfect world
By Dan Wetzel, Yahoo! Sports
7 hours, 49 minutes ago

In a perfect world, the public wouldn’t be obsessed with celebrity gossip.

In a perfect world, a golfer wouldn’t make a billion dollars.

Tiger Woods’ Cocktail Waitresses Across America tour took a new turn Wednesday with the release of voicemails, emails, text messages and the like from women claiming affairs with him. It got to be so much, Woods released another statement. He started strong by acknowledging his failures.

“I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart,” he wrote. “I have not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves.”

He should’ve quit right there.

1259794135.jpg

Tiger Woods and his family in happier times.

With Woods, however, he can’t. He never can. It’s why all those boiler plate crisis management solutions were laughable when applied to Tiger. “Hold a press conference”? Please, feeding him to the media would’ve been the dumbest move possible. This guy can’t stay on message in a statement on his own website.

He immediately launched into a four-paragraph lecture about the horrors of celebrity news coverage, the invasiveness of a media free-for-all and how unfair it is that the public has an unquenchable thirst for dirt on the people they’ve made rich and famous.

“Although I am a well-known person and have made my career as a professional athlete, I have been dismayed to realize the full extent of what tabloid scrutiny really means,” Tiger wrote. “For the last week, my family and I have been hounded to expose intimate details of our personal lives.”

This rules out that Tiger was innocently going to 7-Eleven when he wrecked his Escalade at 2:23 a.m. last week. If tabloid scrutiny surprised him, he obviously hasn’t seen a checkout stand magazine rack in years.

His basic point is correct, of course. This is none of anyone’s business. He cheated on his wife, not on the golf course, not on his taxes, not while committing some other crime. The public is owed nothing.

In a perfect world, though, teachers and cops and construction workers wouldn’t have to pony up extra money to buy a shirt for their kid just because Tiger Woods’ name is on it.

In a perfect world, they wouldn’t have to break the bank for overpriced Nike shoes, with a hunk of it going to pay for Tiger Woods’ private plane.

In a perfect world, women in Asia wouldn’t be paid pennies an hour to stitch up his product.

In a perfect world, we wouldn’t be overwhelmed by rampant consumerism, false idol worship and mesmerizing advertisements – a trio of circumstances that Tiger Woods has played and profited from better than just about anyone.

So in a perfect world, yes, Tiger Woods cheating on his family would be a private issue. For many people, it still is. He’s a golfer and as long as he keeps entertaining them on Sunday afternoons in red, that’s enough.

As it should be.

Which is different than how it is. Celebrity gossip isn’t a new phenomenon. You might as well complain about death and taxes.

Tiger had the closest thing to a dream life anyone could imagine: untold wealth, a beautiful, healthy family, professional satisfaction and so on.

He got some of it from portraying himself as a model of clean-cut morality. Perfect shirt. Perfect smile. Perfect wife. Perfect life.

He was the family man, the teacher, the leader, the inspirer. “I am Tiger Woods,” children across the world repeated in one advertisement. In another, he starred with a talking stuffed animal/driver cover. He coveted the opportunity to be everyone’s role model, to speak to young people. He wasn’t Charles Barkley, smartly arguing against allowing kids to look up to him. He wasn’t Derek Jeter, happily living the bachelor life with every Hollywood starlet he could find. The public applauds those guys.

Tiger took every bit of the money his image delivered. And with great rewards come great responsibility. That’s the deal. You can’t have one without the other. You can’t have your image beamed relentlessly into everyone’s living room and then expect people not to be intrigued with your life.

You can’t release glowing pictures of your family and think the public isn’t going to seek information when it comes crumbling down.

It’s fine that he’s not perfect. It’s just that he had IMG sell him as such.

Tiger should’ve stopped after the contrite first paragraph. He should’ve hunkered down and tried to salvage what he can of his marriage. Maybe he still will.

The rest speaks to an athlete detached from reality, myopic in his view of the world which has surrounded him by yes men willing to do anything to keep Tiger the Brand believable.

The New York Post reported Wednesday that in 2007, the National Enquirer had a story of Woods straying from his marriage. According to a former executive at the magazine’s parent company, Woods’ marketing team worked a deal out that the Enquirer would squash the story in exchange for Tiger posing for the cover of sister-publication Men’s Fitness.

He did and they did.

In Tiger Woods’ perfect world, that’s how tabloids were dealt with, how trouble was escaped, how his privacy and marriage were saved. His fame and earning potential were always enough to bail him out.

Spare us the complaining, Tiger, now that it can’t.

If Annika Sorenstam cheats on her husband and he comes after her with a 9 iron is it still good for him or does he go to jail right off?

I have to admit my opinion of tiger is taking a serious downward turn here now that it's come out it ain't just one woman. This dude is philandering like Wilt and then leaves some pretty wussy voicemails from what I understand. Does anyone have a link to that audio?

you mean his knee injury and the pussified reaction he had and the way the media made him out to be such a survivor didnt make you want to bash in his other knee?

News – Hear Tiger Panic to Mistress: "My Wife May Be Calling You" – Celebrity News – UsMagazine.com

I never really got this whole "my opinion of him has changed" thing. NONE OF YOU KNOW SHIT ABOUT ANY FAMOUS PERSON. Sorry, folks, that's fact. You may have deluded yourself to believe you do cause you read newspapers and US Weekly, but I'm guessing you have no clue what happens behind the scenes in these people's worlds re: PR teams, managers, family members, etc. working EXTREMELY HARD to shape a specific brand image for them. I've seen it somewhat up close. You'd be amazed at how tight Tiger's world is. Journalists are scared to death to write negative things about him. It's been VERY well known since the late 90's that Tiger is a player, at least in the TOUR world. But nobody dared talk about the golden child for fear of repercussions from him, the TOUR, the corporate backers, etc. This isn't rare in sports.

Anyway, get over yourselves. Pay attention to your lives for a bit instead of tricking yourselves into believing you actually matter in CelebWorld.

Consider this - Tiger has been a golf geek his whole life. He had a strict dad that was probably right behind him 20 hrs a day til he died. All he's done since the day he was born is eat, sleep, study and play golf. I wouldn't be surprised if he was a virgin until his later college years. Yes, he's good looking but I bet he had zero game.

Fast forward to his pro years and now the most beautiful women on the planet are throwing themselves at him because he's rich and famous, not because he's got Killahbee game. He's got more cooch than he ever knew existed so he's all "sure I'll take some of her and some of this and some of that one". He also clearly doesn't know how to creep on the down low. Hell, he's never creeped on the up high. He needs to have a sitdown with Michael Jordan or something.

I'd always viewed him as an awkward nerd up until these revelations...call me a terrible person, but I find I like him more now that I know he's a poon-hound. Just like I was somehow glad for Bill Clinton when the whole Lewinsky thing came out, cuz you just KNOW Hillary isn't giving any blowjobs.

Like the article I posted above summed up.

His business is his business, I absolutely don't care to hear one more word about it. "But", since we're going to be inundated with his private life for the foreseeable future, he's kind of a grimy dude. I never held him in any particular high esteem just for being an athlete, but facts are facts and the facts that are coming out now is that he's kind of a bum. So what...I'm still going to watch him play golf and I'm still "NOT" going to buy anything from Nike.......so nothing's really changed. He's "just" an athlete. It's just that now he's "just another" athlete instead of maybe being a somewhat more decent guy than the average athlete.

It's actually really irritating that this all came out cause now every fucking major this is somehow going to surface. They'll find some way to bring it up.....like the next time he wins they'll say "he's overcome so much", :barf:....just shut the fuck up about it and let the man hit a ball with a stick.
