Ken I don't want to sound like an asshole but it's about time someone gave you a different opinion rather than a shoulder to cry on. So I will be the asshole on this thread.
For the past 3 weeks or so you have been crying the blues over this guy, now GET THE FUCK OVER IT AND MOVE ON!
You mentioned him being abusive or something I believe. Enough already. Stop whining and find someone else to fuck or go out with. Your wasting valuable time you could be putting into flirting dating and screwing.

Time does heal wounds but 3 weeks is too much time. I can understand mourning a dead relative but this is ridiculous.

I'm not making light of this, but have you thought of seeing a counselor? I have been to a few of them in my life because of painful experiences that I couldn't get through by myself. It sounds like you're going in circles right now. You could talk to someone who can actually help you through this. And when you do get through this (and YOU WILL), you will be stronger for it.
