Why do you lift/train/bodybuild?

I train to gain more strength, to be more flexable, to be active, to look in the mirror and have that pump turn into dopamine, the feel good "feeling" about myself. But first and for most it's the training to be competitive in the ring. The drive, the fight that I have to survive. I train because if I have to physically exchange blows, that I will be able to react, that is, to punch when I must, to kick when I must.
 
For the chicks...
 
Started in highschool for hockey & basketball, went away to school and didnt have much time for sports with studying/work, and now just continue doing to stay active and relieve stress and have some time to myself
