Why do people expect Gear to do ALL THE WORK?

I am getting, to be honest and blunt, pissed off! So many noobs on here want to just have advice on what to use to grow ENORMOUS muscle and then mostly refuse to listen or follow the suggestions given.

People won't accept the value and importance of diet ... And training ... And rest. Yountell them to eat right ... AND MORE ... And explain to them that ALL THE STEROIDS IN THE WORLD won't be effective to it's full extent to assist you in growing IF YOU DON'T F****NG FEED YOUR MUSCLES!!!!!!!

Venting is good and I completely agree with you bro...and it just isn't this forum either. I check out other ones as well and spent about 4 hours one day ripping kids in their 20's...even a 18 year old...new assholes because of the same thing, or the classic "I'm on my 10th week of Test, Tren, Dbol, Winni, and EQ and want to know what I should get for me PCT next week? Could you please tell me how much, when, and what I should take...thanks!" It get aggravating but as I have said many times before...you can lead the horse to water, but you can't make them drink! Give your advice and walk away, if they take the advice and run with it...great! If not, you still tried to help them and that is all you can do bro...you are doing a good job, I have seen you around giving good advice, that is all you can do!

Some people are lazy, let them do what they want.

They are putting a bunch of extra stress on their bodies and its going to take a toll, whether they get results or not.
 
Agree completely. What boggles my mind is why ask for advice if you dont want to listen. You might as well not post if you are not willing to get some input. Hey I agree in the end let them do what they want but why waste the mods time, out time etc. if their response is "fuck it I dont care what anyone says Im still taking a 1gram of test and Deca my 1st cyle".

No one person knows it all, but the collective experinece of the board pretty much has all the answers, only a fool is unwilling to be educated.
 
I think that the mind-set that gear is how you get big is often media driven. If someone is huge, "it must be steroids." When have you ever heard the media say "To be that lean and that size he must of had years training, nutrition and dedication"? You never hear that.

So young guys see someone who is built like brick $hit house, want to look like that individual does and hear the media say "he (or guys that look like him) are on steroids." So the natural response is to look to gear.

On top of that, we are all programmed to follow the path of least resistance. Pushing 500mg of test into your leg is easy! Time, becoming a student of the sport and dedication is not easy.

Thanks Bro, and yeah, unfortunately such is life. It just makes me angry at first, and then it makes me sad to then know that another young man is about to mess up his HPTA for the rest of his life :worried::(

True ... Very true ... Never thought of it from that perspective. If only people knew the dedication, diet-discipline it takes along with using gear ... Sigh ...
 
And these are the reason why AAS's will NEVER be legal. Could you imagine? Every 17 yr old out there would be fucking themselves up for life thinking they will look like Anold.

At the same time though most guys these days don't wanna get that big, believe it or not. They at most wanna look like zyzz, a physique that good diet can attain

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ this is so true... I can't get over it when someone comes asking for help and when they don't hear what they want to hear they get pissed off, talk shit and act like they already know everything when in fact, don't know shit... That is one of the those things that pisses me off so bad that I want to shake some sense into them...

to me its like this, me and so many others are going to do whatever we can to prevent you from doing things you shouldn't be doing and to protect you, but if you talk shit and mouth off and get that kind of attitude, i don't care what you do... i want to help so badly but i am one that doesn't take shit either... you've got all these great guys here taking all this time out of their lives to help and that's the thanks they get... thats frustrating
 
Some people will just never learn. There are guys out there that I know who have been 100% natural their whole lives, but have an impeccable diet and spot on training. They also have physiques that most people envy, and got that way with no drugs.

Then on the other hand I've known guys that have used gear off and on for years that have a physique that barely looks like they work out. They also eat like every other American....pure shit.

Moral of the story is that you make gains in the kitchen....period
 
New guys jump into this shit without reading or asking questions. And media makes it out like you can take a pill or an inj and hit home runs all day or go from 135lbs to 275lbs in a month.
 
Well, gear actually does do a lot. There have been numerous studies from legit sources showing that people who took AAS over x amount of time, didn't monitor their diet or even lift weights gained more lean body muscle mass than people who did everything in and out of the gym drug free.

The cold hard truth is AAS don't just work, they REALLY work, and because of the above comparison, people abuse steroids knowing that even if they ate McDonalds all day, slept 5 hours, and spent their time in the gym banging their head against the wall, they're still gonna receive very noticable results.

To do it right and healthy, you're gonna get much better results and drastically reduce health risks. But if you HAD to do everything right in order for AAS to work, then a lot of people wouldn't touch the stuff. U realize that most of the people on AAS today aren't athletes at all, they're normal middle class peeps.

So, to the OP, ur right, but then again, technically gear actually does do a lot for you regardless of how you eat/train/rest, and because it IS that easy, so many people abuse em.

Yeah, well, there is no disputing that gear works ... You'll gain muscle mass on gear even if you eat sh*t and barely train, because the crappy nutrients will still be transported and utilised more effeciently ... However, gear is not everything and people are left with that expectation ... THAT is what pisses me off ... And then thy want to tell YOU to get lost and that you don't know your sh*t ...

Most people have been ill informed on proper steroid use and the way they work. The average guy just thinks you take AAS and you get big. The dont see how hard you have to bust ass in the gym and on diet.
 
I chalk it up to the fact that some people see the physiques of people on steroids and think that the only difference between the two is that one of them is taking steroids, so they assume the difference in the physique is directly correlated to a high degree, to steroid use.

I still can't comprehend the thought process though of people who actually think if they take steroids and sit on their ass all day they'll get jacked... smh

its already like that in countries where its legal. you have every teen juicing who wants muscle, its on every street corner and cheap.

funny how none of them ever win Mr Olympia or get anywhere.
 
Not everyone is like this, but yeah i get your point. People think it's magic juice.

Juicing is a full time business in my opinion. Have to be willing to put everything into it, not just toss it off at the gym for half an hour a day and jab your ass thinking your big. Can fuck yourself up.

I totally disagree. diet is so important especially as you get older. someone under 22ish could get away with a shitty diet like that but once they get into their late 20's they won't look good.. everyone ate like shit as a teen and most everyone on this forum had 6 packs, not so easy at 30+ though

most people who juice are gym rats but do have backgrounds in athletics.. every person on this forum has played a sport back in high school or college. if you have the drive for bodybuilding now you had to of been a competitive person back then as well.. and would of found a sport to play. the reason most who juice aren't athletes is because 99.5% of people do not play sports professionally, we just aren't good enough for that. and 99.5% of us will never get anywhere in bodybuilding either, but we still love it where we want to excell and maybe win a regional comp.

I think its the mentality of this next wave of youth. I see it at work, in the gym, in line for anything, everywhere. the older guys that come in here for advice do take it and adjust. not all of them but many of the newer and younger members think in terms of shortcuts and don't think its necessary earn shit. when I was young I remember being a shit head but not near this widespread mentality of deserving. see last month's Entitlement thread...

If you're taking AAS and eating like shit and not lifting, you're gonna look like a flat blob maybe, but your body is gonna produce muscle due to your test levels and the mere fact that you're breathing and living. I didn't say you're gonna look GOOD, ur just gonna gain muscle tissue at a faster, WAY faster rate than someone drug free.

My main point is what you responded to be very true. The OP on this thread made it seem like AAS won't do anything for you by yourself which I totally disagree with. The reason they are "magical" is because they work. THAT is why they are so dangerous, especially to the younger crowd.

You don't need to be fully dedicated in and out of the gym to get noticable results from AAS which is why the abuse is so high. If you're educated, mature and responsible then you need to be fully dedicated if you don't wanna fuq up your life.

Creatine, whey proteins etc, now those are supplements that basically won't do crap for you unless you got your routine in and out of the gym dialed down.

Zippy ... that was not at all my intention, and if came across as such, then I need to rethink the way in which I word my statements?

I want to inform people that it won't work 100% at getting you where you want ot be without having all factors in check ... not that gear does NOTHING for you without a clean (-ish) diet and training. :worried:
