so damned attractive? I love that guy. LOL. Plus, damn his grilling looks so tasty!

I just like saying 'flay'.

He look like archie , the red hair, freckles

He's okay looking though for a cook.. lol I think tyler florence is more hotter than bobby. hehe

I'm not really big on looks. I like eccentricity and charisma. I just find him charismatic. I love his personality and how much he gets into his passion -- cooking.

I don't know who Tyler Florence is. ???

I love the show Everyday Italian I think her name is giada laurentis...her recipe is so easy and delicious.... Also 30 minute meal with rachel ray... lol

Yeah me too I mostly watch food network everyday.... I love to cook also!

I even go to their website and save recipes.... he he

Oh, yeah, the food 911 guy. I always laugh at the show because all the chicks are swooning over him as he cooks for them in their homes. I'm sure if the camera crew wasn't there, it would be on! LOL. He seems to have a really sweet and considerate nature, but there is just something I like about Flay.

yeah, Rachel Ray is great, but my fella says that she is ANNOYING. I think she is cute. :whatever:

There's this another cook but is not on food network..... is on tLc

I think he's the hottest chef that I had ever seen LOL... ( he's alright but he looks better than the other chefs in food network) the show is called " take home chef" Is pretty funny too and most of the chicks are flirting with him also.....

Basically the show is about where this chef go to the grocery store and find some person. He ask this person if they would like to have him cook for them and basically suprise their significant for a delicious meal . The thing is he have to go with the person , cook with them on their place and suprise their significant other before they come home.

anyway here's the picture... I can't find any but here: ( curtis stone )

OMG, too funny ... Bobby Flay is one of the few people who I absolutely, for NO good reason (and I admit it is totally illogical) would love to slap the living shit out of, seriously.

I have an absolute, irrational dislike of the guy, even the sound of his voice makes me cringe.

Rachel Ray is just too unbearably cute for her own good ... I was watching her show one day, that $40 a day show, she really needs to find some other catch phrase than "Yummers ..."

IMO, the bar none sexiest television chef, of either gender, is Nigella Lawson. That is one sensual lady :p

I HATE Giada De Laurentiis, that chick from Everyday Italian. LOL. I find her mannerisms and accent to be affected. Plus, her head is too damned big for her body. I just don't trust a anorexically thin chef...lol. If you listen to her, she will say "mozzarella" or "Proscuito" or any other Italian origin word with an Italian accent. That is just so fucking annoying. Then, she will slip up and say it in a normal mid-western accent. I want to throw something at her!

I'm southern, but that Paula Dean lady makes me want to hit her, too. She just puts on the southern thing too hard. It seems insincere to me. BLEH. Damn, though, her food is the BEST!

Oh yeah, I think Nigellla Lawson is sexy, but who really needs someone purring like a kitten and trying to be all sexy when they are showing you how to cook? I'll take my porn and cooking shows seperate....lol.

Food IS VERY sensual -- never forget the classic scene from 9-1/2 weeks. I'd rather the purring. I do agree with you about obviously fake mannerisms.

The only cooking show I really regularly watch is Good Eats, and occasionally those competition ones, where they make giant candy sculptures, that stuff's pretty cool.

I'm still waiting for a gluten free cooking show  yeah, like that's ever gonna happen. ANYBODY can make bread, a cake or cookies taste good when you can use WHEAT FLOUR try doing it when you CAN'T, then I'm impressed!!!

i look and cook better then all of them.
Flay, absolutely.

Nigella ... she's luscious, plus she has an English accent.

Speaking of cooking ... hey, Needto, I need to make a waldorf salad, what kind of apples should I use???

Okay, you get K for overkill of information :lmao:

I was thinking about adding some pear but they wouldn't be ripe enough (they were like rocks) ... the bulk section had dried cranberries, though, I thought some of those would be fun.

It turned out that the store had gotten a shipment of organic Galas in so I went with those and grabbed a few Granny Smith.

MM....I use Granny Smiths for this. They are so crunchy and tart that they meld well with the mayo/yogurt dressing.

If you wnt to ripen your pears overnight, put them in a brown paper bag with a very ripe apple. The ripening fruit puts off ethylene, a ripening agent.

Or if you dont want to use them in the salad, the classic use of under-ripe pears is to poach them. It ripens them right up. I like poaching mine in port and cinnamon. :p

Man, I'd like to hit her in the head with a brick.

He just made some damn good Cuban food.

You probably like him cause he's a cocky NYer and you're a bored housewife from Alabama.

(alright, I have no clue if you are a housewife nor do I have nay clue if you are from Alabama, but it sounded good so I'm going with it)

I think the fact that he is a New Yorker helps. I love New York. I like the way that he goes into those shops there and gets stuff and throws it together. He cooks the way that I like to cook, and just seems like the kind of guy that I would have fun being with.

bored housewife? I don't clean, but I am retired and cook and have some step kids that drive me nuts. Does that make me a housewife? I'm not sure, really. Ah well, I don't really mind the label one way or the other. I grew up in Kentucky. So, that is southern enough for the Alabama comparison, I suppose. I have lived all over, though -- Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, North Carolina, Florida.
