For what man, gelcaps to put it in just help with not tasting it on the way down and then they take an HOUR to dissolve which DELays the absorption process so it does the exact opposite of what you want.
Now, using two gels for the PEG does help with absorption as the 'substance' tends to crash out of the alcohol solution, the PEG was recommended for the vodka preparation. Now, if its true that the solute dissolves in a mild solvent solution such as lemon juice or acetic acid then the PEG would help with absorption to keep the solute from crashing out of the solvent as well. If it crashes out then it doesnt matter if you dissolve it in anything b/c it becomes the same as if you dissolved it in water, although its solubility prevents it from completely dissolving in water, but doesnt matter you could just put the powder straight into your mouth and chase it with water or lemon juice or any liquid as the absorption rate would be exactly the same as if it crashes out of the solvent ie acidic liquid.
So basically, PEG aids in absorption only if it dissolves in something. If it doesnt dissolve then its the same as if you hadnt used PEG at all.
So, really, I had no problem with absorption with just a lemon juice solution. Just try it that way first and maybe add the squeezed out gels (two of them) and see if the absorption time is good.
Really, I think the absorption issue is a lil overblown and some people in advanced discussion postulating the best absorption time. It doesnt 'really' matter Im thinking, at least for me.
