Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Why aren't there more black people on this board?
Yes, the less education someone has, the more likely they are to agree with someone just because he is Black/Democrat/Catholic/Insert adjective here......(as they are not able to understand the real issues at stake) . A lot of people support them for their own reasons. I have a friend here who works for a minority owned investment banking firm. This asshole slipped Jesse Jackson some money because he knew "The Rev" would put some pressure on a certain company about minority contracts and he wanted to be on the ground floor when it went up. How the hell can you run a business that unethically? It didnt work out but that shows the kind of scum who float on top of the water. The sad part is that this CEO will again be held up as a "black leader" and will be thought of to represent black people. BTW..said CEO is a republican! IMHO colour is pretty irrelevant, most blacks group together because they come from a certain similar status or economic group..not because they are all black...

The thing that puzzles me is where did Jackson and Sharpton get their power from. Somebody had to put them there or supported their views. Strange to say the least. I'm not generalizing here but through my work and my exposure to the black population it seems more times than not that the less higher education a black person has the more inclined they are to support Jackson and Sharpton. That's just my experience and totally my opinion so please don't anybody be offended
