well as long as ur suggesting alt. programs for granny and not immediately ceasing this program and exchange the homelss vets for homeless old people then im ok with this.

So we ignore veterans but hand over money to lazy fuckers who seek welfare when these very people could easily work? How about cutting off the people who abuse the welfare system and use the money to take care of people who make an effort to protect our country?

I would definately like to see some welfare system reforms too. I know too many people first hand who take advantage of welfare or unemployment to be lazy asses. Selling drugs to live as well as I do, and taking government money... it pisses me off. I'm considering reporting some of them, seriously. But we do take care of our veterans, they just dont have a golden parachute, thats all. Any veteran has a guarenteed loan for a home of up to $200,000. Except for the most expensive places in the country, thats plenty to have a roof over your head. Its up to the veteran at that point to get and keep a job, and buy a house. Pretty simple, but like I said, some people just are pussies when it comes to dealing with the simple difficulties of the world and they opt out of living like you and I do. Fuck them then.

the benefits are poor because a large portion of Americans are ungrateful for the job we do. Just look at the payouts to the yuppies and such in the world trades centers compared to those who take the fight to the enemy and got obliterated for 600 bucks a month and a free funeral and flag to the next of kin.
