Whoa. I just realized something really bad....

works better than counting sheep
I made it to 14 one night
but I was buzzing on a red bull and wellbutrin stack

I just spent a sweaty 30 minutes manhandling a 500lb man into a van
the fucking guerney was all fucked up

I had him all lassoed up with bed linens once we got him in
sorry about that 2500 dollar guerney
should have sent someone with some experience

boy am I glad he's going to mississippi
not my problem no mo

at the end of the day, your usage is neither uncommon, nor problematic - and so I would relax and probably keep doing it - although I would be concerned that in the case of an emergency, you would not be able to legally (or safely) drive your car to, say, a hospital or whatever.

theres a lot of stigma attached to drinking that amount of alcohol - lots of people will tut tut and say that its alcoholic behaviour etc etc, but the reality is that unless you feel compelled in an addictive way to do so, and you are in fact doing it because you find ethanol useful as a sleep aid in your extraordinary circumstances, then it isnt a bad thing. Your body will fairly quickly develop tolerance to alcohol in any event, and so the effect of the 70 or so grams of ethanol in that bottle of wine will affect you as much as a third or half that would on the average non drinker.

if it makes you feel better, usage patterns in many parts of europe either match or exceed your own - in greece for example, where the population is amongst the longest lived, and healthiest, in the world.

ethanol is also a perfectly usable carbohydrate, and so if you wanted to correct your diet, then what you should be doing is eating more protein, either in the form of shakes or chewy protein sources, so as to bring your intake of carbs vs. protein in line

cheerios :)

I appreciate your elaborate response. My mother was raised on a military base in Italy. She didn't return from Italy until she was 19. When she returned to the US, she brought with her a love for wine. I have been drinking wine(maybe a glass with dinner) since I was an early teen. I understand your comments about the development of tolerance to ETOH. When I drink a bottle of wine, I'm not drunk. It makes me feel slightly more relaxed than if I had only taken my sleeping medications. I guess my main focus should be on balance. I need to focus on eating on a regular basis. Obviously, more protein is a MUST. As far as calories..... it varies from day to day. About once a week or so- I will eat junk all day. Most days, I only eat once or twice. When I do eat, I try to eat healthy meals but it won't do much good if I don't eat anything else for 16 hours

In all seriousness you need to get some help. Thats not at all healthy and would qualify you as a drunk.

Sorry to correct u when ur saying I have a drinking problem..... but it's wino. My excess deals exclusively with wine.

Your excess deals with alcohol, the delivery method is secondary. :)

do you sleep any during the day? Seems you always get on here at night.

Not usually. When I do catch a couple of hours of sleep, it is usually when the sun is up. Maybe 2-3 hours or so. I get on here during the day.... everyday. I jump on and off in between other things(cleaning and stuff). I try to stay busy during the day...but I always check in here every couple of hours.
