wtf???? people convicted of violent crimes should get no second chance. if it was up to me they would be punished by death upon conviction. people like that do not deserve to live.

He's a poor black, and i assume his victim white. This is non-PC and you won't see this story front page news on CNN. Or at least longer than 5 minutes.

This is the fucked up truth. There is quite a bit of black on black violence in my town. The worst murder rate in the whole state actually. My property taxes are going up an additional $80 this year to pay for the city's crime initiative. Why the fuck should I have to pay anything extra. I am not a criminal and I have never been arrested. You have the wards of the state living on gov't assistance holding up convenient stores and killing one another over tennis shoes. Why should I pay for their sins? We need to lock these fucks up and throw away the key. Or let them dig there own graves and put a bullet in their heads. Bullets are cheap.

Wtf, 3rd time's the charm? Incredible. I'd love to see public beatings of these people. Televised fucking beatings from relatives and friends of these victims. I'm sure it would help bring this type of crime down. No rules, just beat the fuck out of them until you're satisfied. If they die, oops. If they don't, well, his sentence is life, so you get to do it again tomorrow until his sentence is done. No fucking 3 square meals/day crap for the rest of your natural life. Let the beatings begin.

I hope that woman can get on with her life in some way.

hopefully she finds a group for victims of violent crimes. I know there is one in NYC.
I have a cousin who works at Columbia U.

No man... there IS hope. She's 23. In 20 years, this will be a long memory. Definitely not forgotten, but hopefully she will have some kind of life surrounded by people who love her and treat her well. I'm sure the road to recovery has already begun with her family and friends and people she doesn't even know yet, by her side.

Never say never. If she gives up now, then HE (the terrorist) has won.

May she live a long and happy life.

he burned her and threw bleach on her- she'll probably be scarred from that alone, but my guess is, there will be a ton of smells and sights and sounds that send her back to those 19 hours.
 
well wtf do you expect when you have sick ass movies out like saw, the hills have eyes, the devils rejects, Hostel, texas chainsaw etc. sounds exactly like what the killer did in the movie "the cell" yeah, the guy should be killed
 
Killing him would be too humane.

At the trial they should tape a pair of scissors between his legs and beat him until he put his own eyes out the way he tried to make her. Then stick him in solitary confinement for the rest of his life.

Blind and the isolation would have him slowly going crazy over time until his brain just popped.

It is an unofficial policy to not report race because it offends certain segments of the population. (I would post the original link to the Society of Professional Journalists but they removed it from the free section and placed it under the subscriber section - wonder why?)

the guy was homeless and in jail. i doubt he was sitting there watching those movies

those movies don't compel people to do anything.

if you're that sick to contemplate it you have alot more problems than watching a scary/grotesque movie
