Who would you respect more

or give more props to? The guy who is 6'0" 200lbs and can bench, squat, and deadlift 3x his body weight or the guy who is 6'0" 240lbs and can bench, squat, and deadlift 2x his body weight. Their body fat is about the same.

I wouldn't respect either just because they can do x amount of whatever. What I do respect is individual decisions to accomplish something, would it be impressive in both circumstances? Yes, would I lick their ass? No.

Knowing nothing about either individual aside from the given, I wouldn't have any more respect for one than the other. Lifting big weights is nice, but it's hardly the primary criteria I'd use when determining whether or not someone deserves my respect.

Why cant you just answer a question? You are getting worse than Matt.

I would give props to both.. just for their accomplishments on their bench press... 600lbs and 480lbs is fairly impressive and did not happen overnight.

That is a very difficult question......

If one guy has a do-rag on then he wins..

The only thing cooler than a do-rag.... Is those super Fly, Roos Tennis Shoes with the little pouch.

I need specifics

definitelty the guy at 200lbs. He might not have the size but he probably has the tenacity to push himself to the limits, but if I got to know him and thought he was a dick then it wouldn't really matter now would it..... It isn't always about weight, but how you present yourself....

I strongly believe that you have yet to hone your reading comprehension skills.

both are impressive, but I think you may have not really thought out your question. The guy who weighs 200lbs is benching 600, while the "bigger" guy at 240lbs is benching 480.
If this is the case definitely the 200 lb guy!!

What would impress me more?

That would be the one who can do 3X their bodyweight. That goes whether they're are 150, 200, 300 or 400lbs.

You did say these people would be the same bodyfat %, so physique is not the question.

Still can't tell you without knowing something about them. One might have a load of natural abillity and doesn't really push himself, while the other fights for every gain he makes.

agree with Franco and Warik. Lifting x lbs doesnt mean anything to me. Yo ucan be a dumbass or a pussy anyway.....

200lb guy:
600lb squat
600lb deadlift
600lb bp

240lb guy:
480lb squat
480lb deadlift
480lb bp

The 200lb guy blows the other away, hands down. A 480 squat, dead, or bp is not impressive...especially when comparing it to a 600lb bp.

respect in the aspect of/for bodybuilding/powerlifting

i guess i need to make myself more clear next time.
