Who owns a gun?

I have a Makarov 9mm that i got a few years ago and a .32 beretta that my parents had from 1969 and it is still in mint condition.

Franchi PA3 12Ga with 8.5" barrel and top folding stock

PTRS anti-tank rifle 14.5mm

H&K P7PSP (regular CCW gun)

AI .308 sniper rifle

Brugger and Thomets MP9 SMG

I used to have more but I spend more time with cars now :)
 
45 Ruger, Just got it a few months ago.
 
Too many to fucking name. My dad used to give me 2 guns per year. One for my birthday and one at Christmas. My first one was when I was 12 years old, he bought a modified .410 snakecharmer with a revolving barrel. Yeah, you could load 6 shells in that bitch. I took it mostly with me camping and while bowhunting.

Most useless guns I own are a damn Tec 9. It has a range - provided it is not jamming which it does 99% of the time unless you use American Eagle brand ammo because they have a thinner casing on the shells - you can half way accurately shoot up a Sunday School classroom. Beyond 10 feet only NASA can track the bullets.
The other is a pistol that I inherieted from my dad when he died. A 6 inch, 10 guage, double barrel pistol. Apparently he picked it up somewhere in the Europe during the war and it must be for close combat. Though I honestly can not think of anyone willing to risk their wrists firing both barrels. It has the distinct look of semi-mass production piece, not necessary a home made firearm, but I have never seen another one like it or talked to anyone that knew of it.

glock27, cz 75b compact, hk usp40, a bunch of old mausers, a mak-90, 2 sks rifles, 2 remington 870s, an old russian rifle known as a mosin nagant, a taurus .38 special revolver, a bersa .380, 2 makarovs, a llama .40 caliber, and a .38 super 1911 that I inherited from my granddad.

Inherited from my father ... also his police issued side arm, can't remember what that is.

Oh, a crossbow and I may have a recurve bow floating around still.
 
the four basics. 9mm, shotgun, rifle, and a specialty that i'm not naming. shouldn't have it, BUT, a lot of fun. ;-) My uncle is into military weapons bigtime, so yeah...

I love my 9mm but I realy want a snub nose air light 357 mag. or a Mini D. eagal....

When I think about Ruger, I think about this quote from Bill "The traitor" Ruger:

"No honest man needs more than 10 rounds in any gun. I never meant for simple civilians to have my 20 or 30 round mags or my folding stock"

- Colt actioned Sauer Arms 30-06 in mint condition.
- .338 Winchester Magnum, hand-built with a German Mauser action.
- Remington Model 700 .270
- circa 1950's Stevens single shot breech loaded 20 guage.
- Thompson Contender Super 14 with barrels in 45-70, and .357 Magnum.
- Colt Ace .22
- Ruger Super Redhawk in .454 Casull (Not mine yet, but is willed to me)

I'm shooting a few different pistols now trying to decide which it will be.

Glocks feel a little bulky in my hand, but the reliability is hard to pass up.

I shot my uncles SW 1911 Pure butter, but I'd rather a larger caliber.

I'll post up when I'm no longer unarmed.

HAHA, actually I have not even shot it yet. I bought it at a gun show two weeks ago for $110 bucks still in the cosmoline (a vasaline like crap they dipped it in that keeps it from rusting and the stock in good condition). Cleaned up well it just took forever. They are cheap and you should be able to get one at a gun show for next to nothing. The Yugo's and Russians are generally the cheapest of the SKS's (the chinese will be on the more expensive side)but you can find almost any for under $200. Warning though, the ammunition has gone from $1-2 for a box of 20 to $4-5 from a cheap gun shop and about $9 a box at wal-mart. You can still order it in bulk cheap but you have to wait about a month it get it.

Go to gunsamerica.com and you can get an SKS for 120-150

Lets just hope he or she is trying to hurt you or your loved one before you blow him or her away, for your own sake bro.............. The laws in America say that before you blow somone away you need to be at feer for your life or your loved ones lifes even if thay are in your Bedroom looking over you wile you sleep. Thats the American law not mine......... You get the point....

dont know about you but if someone was in my house by my (or a my family members) bed standing over me when I was sleeping I would consider that a threat on my life and the game would ensue shortly there after. Weapon or no weapon I believe that a reasonable person would take that as a threat.

I would use a gun in protection if I felt I HAD to. Sure every once in awhile everyone thinks it would be fun, its the kid in us I guess. Seriously though, I hope that I would never have to. I am young but have already invested to much in life to waste it in prison because I wanted to shoot at someone that was trying to break in my car or something petty deal like that. I am sure that it would be a huge hassle even if it was a justified shooting and a lot more so if it wasnt. Do you really want that on you the rest of your life? I wouldnt know from personal experience but the consequences would surely go on for years to come.

Why would ANYONE EVER dream of killing someone? Have you ever killed before?
I wouldn't suggest dreaming of that...........sometimes you get what you want.
