Who is your favorite guitarist?

Damn, old man!! j/k I actually dig some Harrison's and Lennon's stuff. I astill love their version of Helter Skelter. Bad ass.

I'd be surprised if McCartney didn't do some of the guitar work on that tune. You can tell it's Lennon on bass because the bass is pretty plodding and lame.

Oh i forgot!

Nuno Bettencourt

and

Chris Holmes.

Chris a fucking MONSTER at guitar. Guy fucking outjammed me on guitar one night, drunk off his ass, and sent me back home crying to my mommy. Love that guy.

John Frusciante (Chilli Peppers)...
Abosulutely! Another example of some awesome creativity with the guitar. Not a speed demon or technical expert, but a visionary.

I'm not a Chilli Peppers fan, and never really appreciated his work until someone at work brought in a Chilli Peppers live DVD, and I couldn't stop watching him. His guitar work is understated and elegant, but catchy as hell, and he totally drives the songs. He always has great tone too.

Yeah its tough to describe really... his guitar matched up with Flea's bass is a perfect combination.

Which live DVD was that?

Dunno, but it's fairly recent, 'cause it's got material from their most recent album.

BTW, he plays a Telecaster on all the new stuff...
