The boys from Clutch are bad ass. Great riffs, and great jam players.

I've had the pleasure of working with both of these acts. One time I thing they were even on the same bill. Fun bands, nice guys one and all.

Sorry Razorguns, I love Zakk, but I would'nt even rate him in the the top 20 guitarists. He is the most repetitive player today.

Pick up some Pride & Glory (both cd's). And some Black Label Society. As well as his new acoustic cd that came out this year. Even got some cool blues numbers. He actually started off as a classic guitarist learning from the likes of Al Dimeola, etc when he was a wee kid.

I have everything Zakk has released. Pride and Glory IMO is his best stuff, hands down!

Shadow that was avgood call on Mark Knoffler. Excellent player. Never plays with a pic. Sultans of Swing is a guitar masterpece.

Dave Navarro is extremely underrated. Very fluent with a beautiful style.

Randy Rhodes is a God, and live on forever.

I hate to say this, but Eddie Van Halen is a God as well. He influenced a whole decade of bad guitarists.

George Lynch is probably one of the most sound, technical players of the last two decades. He gets no credit. He is a wonderful player.

Billy Gibbons is bad ass, and very rarely gets mentioned.

Pepper Keenan of COC is a riff master.

Glen Tipton and K.K. Downing probablt play better off each other than any other two players. Very sound players.

Kirk Hamett is very innovative player, Just listen to Master of Puppets. That says it all.

Jake E. Lee is a wonderful guitar player A great technical player, with great chops.

John Sykes is fucking awesome. Probably one out of ten of you know who he is. Listen to Whitesnake's 1987 release with Still of the Night. He did all the guitar on that album. He also started a band called Blue Murder after that. Fucking incredible.

Adrian Vandenburg was an interesting player. Very sound.

Not fans, but I'll give credit to them both. Joe Satriani and Steve Vai.

Yngwie Malmsteen is maybe one of the fastest and technical players I have ever heard. Not fan, but I'll give him props.

The boys from Clutch are bad ass. Great riffs, and great jam players.

Jimi Hendrix is a God.

The Godfather Tony Iommi!!!!! The master of the riff. Most underrated player of all time.

Stevie Ray Vaughn ranks in my top three guitar players of all time. Amazing.

Dimebag Darrell was the most inovative players of the 90's. He ranks right up there with Iommi when it comes to playing riffs. Also a wonderful technician. His due will come.

Carlos Santana is the master of compression. If you play, you'll understand.

Robby Kreiger of the Doors id phenominal in my book. He did some amazing shit. Definetely underrated.

Angus Young is'nt one of my favorites, but he is another riff master. Sound player along with Malcom. They work excellent off each other.

Brian May of Queen is a wonderful player.

Kim Thayil from Soundgarden is a cool player. I found him to be a breath of fresh air when he come out. Same goes for Jerry Cantrell.

These players are in no particular order. I'm tired and will think of more later.

Damn, I almost forgot Gary Moore. Fucking phenominal player.

I'll add Jimmy Page, that is just because of his influence.
thats a fairly comprehensive list
